Skystone Games and developer Streetlamp have officially released an early test gameplay trailer for their upcoming action title, SlashZero. The three minute video offers a closer look at the game’s fast paced combat and anime inspired cyberpunk style.

In SlashZero, players take on the role of a “Timehacker”, a character capable of traversing different timelines while battling through a vibrant futuristic world. The game is described as a 3D action roguelike platformer, combining fluid movement, high speed combat, and randomized upgrades across each run.

The newly released trailer highlights the combat system, showcasing flashy combos, rapid skill effects, and an overall high intensity gameplay loop. Players will also be able to choose from multiple characters in the test version, each featuring distinct abilities that offer varied playstyles.

In addition, the roguelike level design is expected to deliver constantly changing experiences, encouraging experimentation with different strategies in each playthrough. The blend of anime visuals and cyberpunk aesthetics helps SlashZero stand out among current indie action titles.

The game has now opened early test registration on Steam, allowing players to experience a portion of the content and provide feedback ahead of its official release.
