Just solved mine. As I was also trying to manually install Crossfire PH, I experienced an error like "shell dll missing", so I looked up how to fix it and found out that I don't have MS Visual C+ dist. yet so I downloaded and installed it. Error fixed for Crossfire PH client, and same goes for Stove app..
