🎮 BlazBlue Entropy Effect X Includes Free Dead Cells & ICEY Collab Content

Great news for fans of BlazBlue Entropy Effect X! The upcoming console and expanded version of the roguelite action game will include collaboration content from Dead Cells and ICEY — completely free at launch. This was confirmed by developer 91Act and publisher Astrolabe Games, and it applies to all platforms including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.

In this crossover event, players can unlock The Beheaded, the protagonist of Dead Cells, and ICEY, the titular heroine from the action game ICEY, as playable characters by completing special crossover stages inspired by their respective titles. Both characters were originally available as DLC on the PC version of BlazBlue Entropy Effect, but for Entropy Effect X they’re included at no extra cost right from day one.

The Dead Cells character maintains the deep, flexible combat mechanics of his original game, allowing players to switch between iconic weapons and experiment with different combat styles. Meanwhile, ICEY comes with her own distinct resource system and narrative-style presentation, giving her playstyle a fresh flavor compared to other fighters.

BlazBlue Entropy Effect X is scheduled to release on February 12, 2026, and players can already try a demo on PS5 and Switch before the full launch.
