Set five years after the “Imprisonment” incident from the first game, Demon Kill Demon ~Yomi 1984~ thrusts players into a bleak underworld where students from Yomi High School are transported to a Hellish realm. In order to survive, they must use a grim technique: resurrecting the corpses of their classmates and using them as assets in combat. The story’s synopsis underscores that this is not a choice of morality, but a dire necessity for survival in the unforgiving environment.

The Switch release will be available in both physical and digital formats. The digital version will be divided into two separate arcs — the Transfer Arc containing the main story and the Revenge Arc focusing on post-game content — each costing ¥3,900 individually. Those who purchase the physical edition will be able to access both arcs together in one package.
