Sega and Atlus have updated the Persona 30th anniversary website, and fans noticed a quiet mention of “the next chapter” for the series.

The Persona series will celebrate its 30th anniversary in 2026. Sega has said the celebration will include “special events, anniversary merchandise, and more”.

So far, Atlus has only announced Persona 4 Revival, which will release sometime after April 2026. However, many fans are still waiting for news about Persona 6, as Persona 5 is now almost ten years old.

Fans noticed that the Google search snippet for the anniversary website includes special wording. The snippet says:
“2026 marks the 30th anniversary of Persona! Come celebrate the journey as we usher in the next chapter for the series.”

The main website itself does not clearly mention “the next chapter”. The meaning of the text is unclear, but many fans believe it could hint at a new main game announcement.

According to past reports, Persona 6 has been in development for some time. Insiders have also claimed that the game will not be a PlayStation exclusive and may be revealed around the 30th anniversary.
