Red Dead Redemption 2 Players Find New Spider Web Mystery After 8 Years
Eight years after release, Red Dead Redemption 2 players believe they have found a new hidden mystery. The community is now working together to solve it.
The mystery is linked to spider webs and strange symbols found across the map. The first spider web was discovered by players goldenplaysterraria, pariah87, and FL4VA-01.
The event is hard to find because it needs very specific conditions. The first spider web only appears on a telephone pole in a remote area, between 3 AM and 4 AM in-game. Red Dead Redemption content creator Strange Man has made detailed videos explaining the mystery so far.
On the same pole, players can see a spider symbol. This symbol points to other locations where more spider webs appear. Each web has a feather that players can shoot.
When players reach the center of the spider symbol, they see a large “N”, which suggests going north. This leads to another telegraph pole that tells players to go west and shoot five more poles. After that, players must go north-west to find a guard tower with a guitar inside. On the roof, there are bird symbols that seem to point north.
At the moment, the community is still trying to find the next step. This is one of the largest and most complex easter eggs discovered in the game in recent years.
Rockstar games are famous for hidden mysteries. One well-known example is the Mount Chiliad Mystery in GTA 5.
It has also been reported that PS5, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch 2 versions of Red Dead Redemption 2 are in development.
