Resident Evil Requiem Nvidia Trailer Teases New City and Open Areas
Capcom has released a new Resident Evil Requiem video made with Nvidia. The video shows the game’s Path Tracing graphics on Nvidia cards.
The video also gives a short look at a new city environment, likely Wrenwood, a fictional city in the game. The gameplay in the city streets is still unclear.
Resident Evil insider Dusk Golem has claimed that Requiem will include some “big open levels” for players to explore.
Last month, Capcom confirmed Leon Kennedy as the second playable character. Leon has his own Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT. The car may be used more than just in cutscenes.
Resident Evil Requiem will release on February 27, 2026, for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Switch 2, and PC.
At a media event in December, director Akifumi Nakanishi said that Leon and Grace each have a similar amount of playtime. Grace’s sections focus more on horror, while Leon’s sections focus on “intense, adrenaline-pumping action”.
