this error occurs when the client is not installed properly. Please follow these official steps:

[Reinstall the Client]

Step 1: Go to Windows Settings (Windows Key + i) > Apps > Apps & features.

Step 2: Select the STOVE (New) program and click the Remove/Uninstall button.

Step 3: Visit the official STOVE website to download and reinstall the new client.

Note: Ensure your network environment is stable before downloading to ensure all files are received correctly.

CM YunaDone all that, even used Revo uninstaller to make sure even leftover registry entry is wiped out. Tried again multiple times & same result. All other popular launcher works on this pc, even ubisoft & EA app have no problem. Steam, Epicstore, Gog u name it. I don't believe anything will change now. Tell me if there's an update. I'll just wait.

Every time i download the launcher it always stop halfway & I have to click resume through the browser. I think after installing the launcher, the subsequent download (perhaps plug-ins & missing library?) just stop halfway & the app just consider it as done. So it failed to start because some missing component.

Please just let it download in one go, maybe then it'll work for me.

This probably happens only to my country but in my years using GoG, I can't download anything pass 1GB because it always disconnect & have to restart from the very beginning, not where it disconnect. Only recently they can resume download where it stopped.

I really hope Stove can deliver better than this because even if the launcher can install, it's useless if I can't download anything.

I am sorry because it a technical issue I can not directly help rather than guide you to send a ticket to Customer Service.

I can understand that when installing launcher, it will download and install additional update packages to the latest version. There is a option to download full client if you did not try it yet.

CM YunaOk I did download the full client & manage to install it successfully. Now I tried a game. I installed a 100mb game it can install & run, though weird warning does pop up. Later I tried 600mb ones called "infinite incantation", it failed to pass 75% (the extracted file size is invalid). It keep disconnecting but at least it resume at where it disconnect, not from the beginning. However it failed to continue to pass that point many times over. 

Even the "STOVE overlay" download facing same issue.

Yea, don't ask me to go to customer service, i only got this picture & nothing else.
