In the annual year-end interview series by 4Gamer, Persona producer and P-Studio director Kazuhisa Wada shared a message that gives both fans and industry observers reason to pay attention. He confirmed that Persona’s 30th anniversary will be celebrated with a wide array of global initiatives, designed to thank supporters old and new for their years of engagement with the series. Beyond commemorative activities, Wada also said that the team believes there will be opportunities in 2026 to talk about the franchise’s future developments, hinting that Atlus may finally begin revealing what’s next for Persona beyond remakes and anniversaries.

Among the concrete projects already in motion is Persona 4 Revival, a remake of the beloved 2008 RPG that’s reportedly “shaping up nicely,” with the development team focused on making it feel fresh and enjoyable in new ways rather than simply adding more content. Although no firm release window has been announced, industry reports suggest it may arrive sometime after April 2026. At the same time, Persona 3 Reload continues to see support and expansion — including a version for Nintendo Switch 2 — showing that Atlus is balancing celebration with ongoing product evolution.
