Does anyone else get "FPS motion sickness"? Just me? 🤢 [2]
I really want to enjoy First-Person Shooters, but my brain says no! Lately, I’ve been feeling quite dizzy whenever I play games with a first-person perspective. I think I might have a "weak vestibular system" (inner ear balance) because after just 30 minutes, the room starts spinning. 🎢
It’s frustrating because there are so many cool games I want to play, but the camera movement is just too much for me.
I’d love some tips so I can get back to gaming without feeling like I’m on a boat! ⛵️

I used to get a little motion sick in some FPS games when I was a teenager. Portal 1 was the worst of the bunch, I almost vomit. Somehow, I've overcome it and don't get sick anymore.
I've heard turning off motion blur helps for some people, but I was the opposite when I still get sickness. If there's an option to reduce screen shake, turn that down too. Or for some people like me, maybe a few years of getting used to while trying out different first-person games is all you need.
Wow :> Thanks for your advice, I appreciate it
