Todd Howard just dropped some thoughts on adapting The Elder Scrolls for TV, and while he "can't rule in or rule out" anything, he definitely thinks Fallout was "more uniquely suited" and had "more to say in its genre".
I totally get his point; the post-apocalyptic sci-fi vibe of Fallout is just so visually unique and easier to adapt. But man, after how good the Fallout show was, the potential for a high-budget Elder Scrolls series is insane! We might have to wait a decade though, as he's "willing to say 'no' for a decade".
Meanwhile, Fallout Season 2 hits Prime Video on December 17, 2025! That's the real focus now. Who else is ready to see New Vegas come to life with Lucy, The Ghoul, and Dogmeat?!
