[Review Post] 30 Minutes of Gameplay Review: Qube Qross
Hello, this is CM Flint!
This is the first review post of 30 minutes of gameplay.
Briefly explaining, I'll be reviewing a game after playing for 30 minutes,
and the first game I'm reviewing today is Qube Qross.
I chose this game to review because this is the first STOVE game I've played.
First, the title screen. It looks clean and neat.
On the next screen, you can select the mode.
So far, I still didn't get a sense of what kind of game it is.
After selecting the Classic mode, a word that seems to be a theme word displays at the top with 10 stages listed.
From this moment, I began to feel something familiar.
I selected Stage 1 and gave it a try, and I soon found out that it's a 3D nonogram game!
Now that I know what kind of game it is, I thought it would not be so hard.
For 30 minutes, I could clear up from Stage 1 to Stage 23.
As I expected, it wasn't so hard till that stage.
HOWEVER,
the 3D nonogram was quite a challenge to me.
Since I had to stack blocks in a 3D space, the game let me rotate the view.
Yes, I needed to rotate the screen to clear the stages.
It was hard to get used to although I wasn't a casual gamer.
Also, as I progressed the game, I often couldn't see the numbers because of the blocks I stacked!
That's all for today's review, but I probably played for more if I had more time.
If you like a puzzle game with endings, you'll find this game quite enjoyable.
