Developer's Note #13: Publishing Service Termination and Developer Transfer [7]
Hello. Masters! This is Moonsoo Hyun, the producer of OUTERPLANE. Following our greeting in the Developer’s Note for the 2nd anniversary update, we are back with news for the first time in about two months. While there were certainly areas that could have been improved, we sincerely hope our Masters enjoyed the events and content we had prepared. Today, we would like to share some important news regarding changes to the future direction of our service operations. [Publishing Service Termination and Developer Transfer] 1. Publishing Service Termination Thanks to the collaboration with our publisher, Smilegate, and the unwavering support from our Masters, we have been able to provide a stable service as OUTERPLANE has continued to grow, step by step. We would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank everyone who has been with us on this journey. Monster/Character Designs
I really love the game's art design, especially when it comes to monsters and characters. With every new update, we’re treated to another awesome one! I get excited like a little girl every time a patch drops...it’s like a weekly Kaiju reveal! 😅 We may never see it all, but the team is clearly hard at work behind the scenes: crafting stunning designs, building immersive worlds, weaving compelling stories, refining system mechanics, and tackling those pesky bugs across multiple OS platforms (which honestly sounds like a nightmare). The Monad Gate story [1]
The Monad gate story featuring the self insert MC came out of nowhere, but happily so. It builds upon the Worldline from Previous events featuring the MC, but most of all the Soul-slayers saga that also takes place . Overall, the story was really good. Featuring characters but in an alternate timeline to interact with. Though primarily focused on Delta. Abit sad to see Nella getting so much introspection and being a good guy here, but likely won't follow into other timelines in the future. And while we finally got to interact with both Nella and Iota. It was also a major waste to not have a romantic development with them and the MC. Iota for example is designed like that for a reason. Might aswell give us what we want as the boring stuff is in the main story anyway . Delta did get a lot more of a fulfilling arc. Actually joining us after the story and seemingly falling for the MC Aswell. So that's atleast one big booba automaton for us! So the MC isn't stuck in the cuck chai- I mean. T
