Yep, pure F.O.M.O tactic...Outerplane became more financially aggressive since poolside Regina release...
It feels like they got more aggressive since the JP release, and after the failures of Wonderers and Chaos Zero Nightmare, they're basically using us to bail out their other games
Wonderers was hyped as a MapleStory 2 clone, but turned out to be a simple town hub with an open world that was just a glorified lobby. The gameplay was gacha to earn character and moveset, and was a boring 1v1 pvp arena battler and roguelike pve in same rehashed grid, which inevitably flopped, having no charm nor actual fields at all
Chaos Zero Nightmare was another title this time announced by e7 devs, that focused on character intros but showed no gameplay, making people suspect it was just chibis. After aggressively promoting it on the sidebar to the left, it disappeared
Outerplane is so popular that they are trying to utilize fomo, and aggressively pushing trash games ads on the sidebar on the left. This is no bueno
But anyway the event was okay, but really unpolished, its not time to slip up now...
SerisaChaos Zero is the one to be release, right ? never heard about the Wonderers though
I was about to make a post about that, the math isnt matching pretty sure Eva skin is pay2win, no matter how you cut it we wont get enough points for the skin
Yea, they only give up to 89 of the 125 tiles for free, as mentioned in the notes.
The issue is the number of hoops they make everyone, even meva costume spenders, leap through.
They demand you to "frame-perfect" the fireworks by collecting and using them every 2 days over several days to get x99 multiplier, and then make the "low multiplier high score" rather than "high multiplier low score" fireworks fire off first to make it harder to score.
They also demand you complete every bingo quest daily, ensuring you're just short until the last day - second to last day at 11,400 points, last day at 12,150, making the 11,500 milestone reachable only on final day.
Confirming that the costume would be available post event in a purchasable pack, with slightly less incentive than the current event would ease concerns.
But it's like they avoid this to maintain fomo sales. It's a shame since the event is good, but ruined by the devs' interference.
They really shouldn't keep pissing off the playerbase.
gotta thanks the netmarble guy, since he join not just we got the event ticket as this game became more and more pay 2 win or pay to have anything
There is a purchasable bundle in the shop that gives you bingo points and fireworks. I already have all five boards cleared
