There is an impression that the fireworks mechanics are bugged

First of all, whoever designed the visuals of the bingo and fireworks event deserves high praise. I hope that the feedback and bug report isn't taken as discouraging the events because visually, it was well done.

On the otherhand, whoever designed the fireworks score mechanics probably needs to playtest it more, because the way it functions, it might as well be considered that it was shipped as bugged.

Currently, the way it is processed, it is fired bottom-up, where the bottommost fireworks which give low additions to multiplier but high score are fired off first, while the topmost fireworks which give high additions to multiplier but low score are fired off last.

While this makes sense for fireworks presentation purposes, this is only a detriment and does not help players score gain at all. Everyone's high scoring fireworks are being fired off at low built up multiplier and then after that, when the multiplier has finally reached a high number, the high addition to multiplier but low score multiplier fireworks are fired off when the multiplier is already maxed, resulting in wastage. For what?

The event would make sense if it went top-down instead for firing off the fireworks, at least until the multiplier caps at x99, where the high multiplier adding but low score fireworks are fired off first, followed by the high score but low multiplier adding fireworks are fired off last, which would result in much greater scores as the high scoring fireworks would make use of the built up multiplier, rather than the current opposite.

Please playtest events if they are going to involve monetary purchases because the way it is designed currently is nonsensical and feels anti player by seemingly deliberately making the obtained scores worse, to the point that players have to stack at least two days worth of fireworks to be able to maintain and make use of the high multiplier.

If it were proper logic, 33 topmost +3.0x score multiplier fireworks would be fired off first followed by the rest of the fireworks to make use of a x99 multiplier. Instead, the system seemingly deliberately wastes the high scoring fireworks during the time it is low multiplier.
