PVP is a Joke [3]
How will the devs fix this bloat damage meta. Cant even counter them unless you also do the same team
.Absolutely a joke you cant even experiment in PvP anymore without getting punished by meta team who can erase all buff and give unbuffable. Cant play stall because enemy will give 10 different debuffs and outspeed me 3 times before i can even make a turn...oh wait no. you cant even have a turn because your team will be wiped before turn 2 even starts. Devs are a joke when balancing. They really want this game to be similar to epic 7

There are counter teams that WORK but don't WORK because the game itself is broken. If you have heroes with counterset and put them along heroes with passive skills that trigger them to counter, you can run into situations where one of your counterset heroes will do a basic counterattack and this blows a circuit in the game and tells all your heroes with passive counter abilities to not work anymore rofl.
Example: My team against D. Vlada+Notia, D. Astei and Mene would be Stella, Kanon, Mene, and D. Drakhan. All my heroes will survive whatever Vlada and Notia do. Once they crit, my Kanon will drop Astei instantly. She'll revive into my Stellas whip and be dead for good. Stella will cleanse everyone. If enemy Mene goes first to revive Astei again, my Kanon can drop her twice with her s3 into passive s2 combo or my Drakhan can just laser her. The fights over.
I have noticed though if my Drakhan does a stray counter, this will automatically negate Stellas passive counter. Game is broken lol
-To preface, I can hit and hold top 25 arena by midweek for my server.-
*Speed is absolutely *useful* - I run a maxed speed team for my arena offence team. It's allowed me to progress, however this isn't always effective! Let's say I have a 12-speed gap between my Demiurge Vlada and my Notia. I Demiurge Vlada ultimate, followed by Notia's passive trigger. This can wipe most squishy teams. This then triggers my opponent's Demiurge Astei's revive and Mene's revive (for the sake of argument). If that Mene or Demiurge Astei still manage to slip into that 12-speed gap between my initial attack and Notia's follow-up with her own ultimate, then the tables can be (and have been!) turned.
*Likewise, I've also encountered lots of tanky arena defense teams that don't rely on speed! A good Demiurge Stella revenge can wipe my entire team and good Demiurge Drakhans have time and again clutched against me with her execute/prevent from reviving ultimate. These defense teams are viable in AO as well! ^^
I don't know why PVP is based on SPEED. No way how to counter outspeed heroes in PVP, Dev should consider that Speed isn't everything, so please make variable stats, substats or main stats not only speed is good for PVP for balance the horrible arena.
