We would like to share the LORDNINE Update Notes for 1 October (Wed).

* Please note that the following updates will be available after downloading the latest version from the Google Play Store (AOS) or the App Store (iOS).

[New Updates]

■ New Region

- A tense new area full of desolate coastal cliffs, [Barbas], will be updated.

1) New Boss

- You can find the boss [Benji] in the Barbas region.

→ Benji appears every Sunday at 21:00 (UTC+8).

- Defeating the boss Benji grants the following rewards based on set probabilities. 

→ Other boss drop rewards can be checked through the [Monster Codex].

2) Other

- Daily missions in the Barbas region will be added.

- Barbas region information will be added to Monster Codex and Item Sources.

- Special Item Logs related to the Barbas region will be added to the Item Logs.
→ With the addition of Item Logs, the Special Point stages will be expanded from 50 to 58.

■ Relics

- 4th Relic [Magic Storm] will be added.

- The Magic Storm Relic allows you to obtain the [Magic Storm] item, an unlock material, upon achieving the newly added [Power of Relic] achievement.

→ The new achievement can be viewed in the growth category within the character menu.

→ You can unlock the 4th relic by using the obtained [Magic Storm] item.

- When enhancing the Magic Storm Relic, you will gain the following options based on the enhancement level. 

■ Achievements & Titles

- 4 new achievements will be added.

→ Power of Relic: Reach Total Relic Lv. 150 Achievement

→ Power of Magic: Magic Storm Relic Level Milestone Achievement (increments of 5 levels, up to 100)

→ Conqueror of Barbas: Achievement for defeat Barbas monsters

→ Gust of Vengeance: Achievement for dealing the finishing blow to Benji

- 4 new titles will be added.

→ Master Merchant, Battlefield Dominator, and True Might Vouchers are rewards that will be granted to Lords who meet certain conditions in the future. Further details will be announced separately.

■Ability

- 1 New Ability [Ability: Reverse Time [Trick]] will be added.

- Acquisition information for [Ability: Disarm [Combat]] will be added.

→ Additional Source: Barbas – Defeat Dragonvalley Ogre Warrior

■ Spire of Trials

- The Spire of Trials will be expanded from 100F to 130F.

- With the expanded 110F/120F/130F rewards, you can obtain 1 additional Chalice of Blessings (total of 3)

■ Crafting

- 1 new recipe will be added.

→ The new recipe can be viewed in the Consumables category of the Crafting menu.

■ Trading Post

- A list of items tradable in-game Trading Post will be added.

→ Items other than Ability: Reverse Time [Trick] can not be registered to the NEXT Market Trading Post.

■ Other

- 1 additional item will be added to the contents of the Legendary Ability Book Chest.

→ Ability: Reverse Time [Trick] added

- Additional tradeable items will be added to the NEXT Market. (53 total Innis Weapon/Armor/Accessories)[Details]

[Improvements]

■ Skill

- The previous toggle skill, which required manually pressing the button to turn ON/OFF, will be changed to automatic usage.

→ After registering the skill in the quick slot, you can slide the skill icon down to enable automatic usage. (Sliding the skill icon up will disable automatic usage.)

→ You can toggle the ON/OFF state by pressing the skill icon registered in the quick slot.
 (The ON or OFF state is maintained, and you can press the icon to change the state if desired.)

- After the improvement to automatic usage, the skill activation will be maintained even after the character dies, is revived, or logs back in.

■ PvP Penalty Effect

- Penalty effects will be adjusted based on PvP tendencies.

- Penalty effects will be adjusted based on PvP reputation.

■ Monster HP Changes

- The HP of monsters within certain level ranges will be increased.

→ Only normal/elite monsters will be adjusted. Boss monster HP remains unchanged.

■ Boss

- With the addition of a new boss, the spawn time of Boss Auraq will be adjusted.

→ The spawn schedule has been changed from the previous Sunday 21:00 to Friday 22:00 (UTC+8).

■ Automatic Shop Purchase

- For items with a purchase limit, automatic shop purchase has been improved to buy items according to the set quantity.

- Automatic purchase will be enabled for the Friendship Shop.

→ The automatic purchase settings screen will now display all items eligible for automatic purchase.

■ Black Merchant

- The Black Merchant’s item list will be adjusted.[Detailed Product List]

- The number of item refreshes will increase to 15, and the cost for each refresh will be readjusted.

- When using the Black Merchant, you will be able to view the list of items currently for sale.

■ Other

- The response time difference in basic attack speed between PC and Mobile platforms will be improved. 

- In-game option settings will be reset for option optimization.

→ Please make sure to reset your options when logging into the game after the maintenance.  (1 Oct 14:28 Edit)

- The addition of Avatar/Nount search functionality will make it easier to find them.

- When the commodity for Avatar permanent/guaranteed summons is changed from Summon Ticket to Diamonds, a warning popup will appear to confirm the change.

- In-game time calculations will be improved to use server time instead of the previous local time.

- When using the game on a PC, you can enter quantities using the keyboard (numpad) when required.

- When selecting an achievement notification, the corresponding achievement will be highlighted for easier visibility.

- If there are Friendship Certificates available for donation/exchange, they will be displayed as a single notification.

→ Following the notification improvement, the donation/exchange notifications for Friendship Certificates in [Settings] - [Notifications] will be combined into a single option.

→ The title of Friendship-related Weekly Missions will be changed from [Donate or exchange Friendship Certificate] to [Friendship Certificate Donate/Exchange].

- The guild chat translation button will be restored to its original position.

→ The button, previously fixed on the right, will now be displayed to the right of each message.

- The guidance text related to Battle Pass usage has been adjusted for easier comprehension.

- In the PC environment, you will be able to use the mouse wheel to scroll within in-game scrollable areas.

- When refining items, the display of Basic/Advanced/Supreme options and the Quick Refine function will be improved to refine according to the item’s tier.

- The use of certain prohibited words in chat will be adjusted for better convenience.

[Event]

■ Boss Ortan

- The Boss Ortan event will take place.

→ Event Period: 1 October (Wed) after maintenance – 29 October (Wed) before maintenance

- The spawn time and location of Boss Ortan are as follows.

→ The spawn time will be random, occurring 2–4 hours after the maintenance ends, and

it will respawn randomly between 4–6 hours after being defeated.

→ During random spawns, two Ortans will appear simultaneously.

- Defeating Ortan grants various items, including Radiant Life Core, Fateful Accessory Refining Stone, and Temporal Piece, according to set probabilities.

■ Item Log Event 

* Event Logs will be updated in the Item Log.  

→ Event Period: 1 October (Wed) after maintenance – 29 October (Wed) until 09:00 (UTC+8) 

→ When the event period ends, all Item and Event Logs and effects will be terminated.  

■ Barbas Update Celebration Check-in Event

- A special Check-in Event will be held to commemorate the update of the new Barbas region.

→ Event Period: After the maintenance – 21 October (Tue) 22:59 (UTC+8)

→ You can check the new event through the in-game Event menu.

■ New Region Exploration Mission Event

- A special Mission Participation Event will be held to commemorate the update of the new Barbas region.

→ Event Period: After the maintenance – 21 October (Tue) 22:59 (UTC+8)

→ You can check the new event through the in-game Event menu.

■ Discontinuing Event

- Event Dungeon [Black Lab] has been discontinued.

→ Entry and use of the [Black Lab] Dungeon is now unavailable.

→ [Black Lab] item crafting will be available until the 10/29 (Wed) maintenance.

The Event Dungeon "Black Lab" will be available until the October 29 maintenance. (Edit 1 Oct 16:23)

We apologize for any confusion caused to your gameplay.

- Event Dungeon 'Black Lab' Period: – Until the October 29 maintenance

- 'Black Lab' Item Crafting Period: – Until the November 12 maintenance

- The Item Log Event that has been ongoing since the 17 September (Wed) maintenance has ended.

→ Event Logs will be deleted and event effects will end. 

→ With the event effects ending, some character stats, such as Attack Power, may decrease.

[New Products]

■ New Mount

- New Mount [Fading Tree Justice] will be added to the shop. 

- Period: After the 1 October (Wed) update – until further notice

→ After the maintenance, you can preview information about the mount [God’s Descendant Fidelis], which will be available starting October 15 (Wed), in the Mount info menu. Further details will be provided in the corresponding update notice.

■ New Skin

- New Skin [Dreamy Illusion Elysian] will be added to the shop.

- Period: After the 1 October (Wed) update – until further notice

→ The skin appearance varies depending on the character’s gender.

■ Battle Pass Season 5 Items 

- Sale of Battle Pass Season 5 begins on 1 October (Wed) . 

→ Battle Pass Season 5 Purchase Period: 1 October (Wed) after maintenance – 8 October (Wed) 09:00 (UTC+8) 

→ Battle Pass Season 5 Reward Claim Period: After purchase – 15 October (Wed) 09:00 (UTC+8)

* The Battle Pass is operated on a seasonal basis and will reset once the season ends. 

* Battle Pass Season 5 rewards can be claimed until 15 October, 2025, at 09:00 (UTC+8). 

* Please make sure to claim your rewards within the claim period, as unclaimed items cannot be retrieved after the deadline. 

■ Hot Deal Products

→ 25 new Hot Deal [Magic Storm] Level Celebration products will be added.

→ When the conditions are met, a product notification popup for the Hot Deal product will automatically appear.

- For Lords who missed the previous Hot Deal product, a related popups redisplay after the maintenance.

→ Only Hot Deal products for which the conditions have been met will be redisplayed.

- The display period for new and existing Hot Deal products will be changed from 24 hours to 30 days.

→ Hot Deal products can be purchased for 30 days from the time the popup is displayed.

→ If Hot Deal products were available for purchase before the maintenance, their display will automatically be extended to 30 days after the maintenance.

* Important Notes  

 - The listed items and their contents may be resold later in the same or a similar form.  

 - Sales schedules are subject to change depending on the update schedule and service conditions. Any changes will be announced separately.  

 - Each product can be purchased a limited number of times during the sales period.  

 - Items that take effect immediately upon purchase are not eligible for refunds.  

 - If any bonus item included with a purchase is used, refund cancellation will be restricted. 

■ Discontinuing Product Notice

- The sale of two 50 Days Celebration Products has discontinued.

→ 50 Days Celebration: Upgrade Scroll, 50 Days Celebration: Mount Enhancement

- The reward collection period for Battle Pass Season 4 has ended.

→ Battle Pass Season 4 rewards can not be claimed after the period ends. 

[Others and Bug Fixes]

■ Other

- Compensation will be provided for issues resolved during the emergency maintenance on September 17 (Wed).

→ Issue where the new check-in event was visible for all and rewards could be claimed

     : Lords who did not receive the rewards before the emergency maintenance will be granted the same rewards.

       (Reward: Welcome Gear Set x1)

→ Issue where completed achievement rewards could be claimed repeatedly

     : Lords who did not repeatedly receive the achievement rewards before the emergency maintenance will be granted rewards.

     (Reward: Life Core x1, Temporal Piece x1,000, Gold x200,000, El Sera Food Chest x20)

■ Bug Fixes

- Fixed an issue where the dialogue UI did not appear during quest videos.

- Fixed an issue where the remaining dungeon time display changed according to the time adjustment option.

- Fixed an issue where checked checkboxes would reset when scrolling when managing friends.

- Fixed an issue where the recommended combat power was not highlighted upon first entering the dungeon screen.

- Fixed an issue where the number of registrable items displayed in the Item Log was incorrect.

- Fixed an issue where Item Log related information in the item detail popup only appeared in the inventory UI.

- Fixed an issue where a white screen appeared just before the video played during character creation.

- Fixed an issue on PC where the character would not appear or gameplay was impossible after entering the offline mode menu during quest video playback.

- Fixed an issue where square brackets ‘[]’ appeared in personal mail titles.

- Fixed an issue where text could not be entered properly when moving the cursor to the middle of a message during chat input.

- Fixed an issue where Guild Boss monsters would occasionally not spawn.

- Fixed an issue where Heal Reversal was applied to targets with [Debuff Immunity].

- Fixed an issue using backspace from the middle of a message while typing with a keyboard did not work properly.

- Fixed an issue where items were not automatically registered based on grade when appraising.

- Fixed an issue where toggle skills were not linked with the Skillbook.

- Fixed an issue where the quest Act 1 Chapter 15 video of defeating Mutated Viahs appeared blurry.

- Fixed an issue where the number of active Hot Deal products were not displayed in the view all UI.

- Fixed an issue where the Hot Deal button did not appear when conditions for other Hot Deals were met while the hide function for existing Hot Deals was active.

- Fixed an issue where using the scroll function in content Help popups would cause abnormal scrolling on other pages.

- Fixed an issue where the Cancel/Confirm buttons in the character deletion popup were unresponsive.

- Fixed an issue where items purchasable with Temporal Piece could not be bought from the Black Merchant.

- Fixed an issue where the character deletion penalty was not properly applied when refreshing the UI after moving to the character selection screen.
