캐시의 다이어리

새로운 곳에서의 첫 며칠은 언제나 묘하다.
겉으로는 평범해 보이는데,
어딘가 어색한 느낌이 남는다.

캠퍼스에 처음 도착했을 때도 그랬다.

두려움은 아니었다.
말로 설명하기 힘든 직감 같은 것.

시선 때문이었을까.
수업 사이의 침묵 때문이었을까.
아니면, 이곳이 나를 바라보는 느낌 때문이었을까.

The first days in a new place always feel strange.
Everything looks normal…
but it doesn’t quite feel that way.

When I arrived at the campus, something felt off.
It wasn’t fear.
More like an intuition I couldn’t explain.

Maybe it was the way people looked at me.

Or the silence between classes.
Or how some places feel like they’re watching you.
