Can we please get this system reworked at some point?

Yes, I know it's unlikely, but hey who knows ....

Righto for this example, Wyvern 12

Karin 100% crit and 160% effectiveness

Wyvern 12:element disadvantage and 70% resistance

Karin S2 says a critical hit WILL defence break for 1 turn.

No % chance on the skill and the use of "Will" suggests it's for definite, right?

So how are there some runs when the Wyvern still manages to resist the Def break?

I've had a 180 effectiveness Karin too and it STILL happens sometimes.

This isn't the norm, but it's still hella frustrating.

Ever heard of 15% innate resist?
Even if the enemy says that it have 0% resist when you tap on the boss icon,there is still 15% chance to resist

unless a skill says that it ignores effect resistance, there is a 15% chance for a debuff to be resisted no matter the effectiveness.

So basically 300% effectiveness still has a 15% chance to be resisted, by a unit with 0% actual effect resistance - think of how little sense that makes as a mechanic . In PvP MAYBE there's a place for it in terms of fairness, but PvE come on :/

Honestly 5% might be more sensible, being the equivalent of the caster rolling a 1 on a d20 in a tabletop RPG...
