No nat 4* heroes for Nadalon either? [5]

Episode 3 originally had nat 4* heroes advertised as unlockable via the nation relationship menu. Each country had a portrait of one of the npc's that appeared in the nation relationship story segments. However like most content that Smilegate advertises, it ultimately became retconned, and removed after chapter 3 or 4. Since then, there has been no new rgb nat 4* heroes, and there continues to be more 3* and 5* heroes added in on the fly that have little to do with the main story.

Episode 4 seems to be shaping up to follow the same pattern. Except instead of new banners, we have multiple different advancements for Adin who is a garbage character. Brinus from episode 3 is still unreleased, possibly also retconned, and groups of nat 3* units are added to the cove pool to further dilute the chances of pulling anything good.

I know kr devs wouldnt give a flying crap about this post. Because well, their bottom line that they'd only listen to are super whale kr players. Just like other korean companies like Nexon. But epic7 is starting to show signs of regressing content-wise. Or has been doing so for quite some time.

“3* added to the pool to further dilute cove rates lowering chances to pull anything good”

Ill never understand why people keep saying this, when they add 3* units it doesn’t change the base odds for any rarities, just the 3* individual rates are changed whilst everything else remains the same, and last time I checked, no ones pulling cove solely for 3*.

but as for rgb 4* we can only dream of seeing them again, there has been datamines showing 4* units tagged for some of the npc characters, unfortunately that doesn’t mean guaranteed as examples of the past have shown these characters sometimes don’t get added anyways. Maybe they’ll finally add some towards the end of ep4 but who knows.

As for brinus, really couldn’t care, another water SW with a bland design, don’t see why there’s so much appeal for her.

Oh look. Its rank 1 so It MUST be one of my alt accounts.

I dont really understand why SG never releases RGB 4* heroes. Maybe because they are "expensive" and not worth?. AND WHY IS KAZRAM A GUARDIAN AND NOT A 5* HERO????. SG sometimes make moves that doesnt make sense.

There weren't any 4*s for Ep3 either, were there?

Honestly, who cares. They're going to be weak niche heroes you need to spend molas on anyway. Most likely they'll make them male too just like they did with Furious and Khawazu. It all comes down to having the list of heroes you're going to make playable and then turning some of them into 4*s. Making extra costs time and money.

I'm surprised they even bother with making 3*s. No one cares about them and SCs are released too slowly for half of them to get it even if the game survives 10 years.

4*s have no inherent purpose. Even at the start of the game their purpose was dubious. They will be, stat wise, worse than any 5*, harder to get/imprint/skill-up than any 3*. Most games with this "intermediate" tier of rarity end up neglecting it before long for these same reasons, else you end up having to do what they arguably did w/ AoLA - making their kit supplement their lack of stats.

They will probably make new 4* RGBs at some point, but I wouldn't expect more than 1 or 2, probably as some sort of freebie gap-filler primarily to help early-mid game players overcome some content or other, or to make some larger narrative point. Nothing that really moves the needle for the majority of folks playing the game or for the long term for most players' accounts.
