[GM] Secret Shop Probability Correction and Compensation Notice [69]

Hello, this is Epic Seven.

We apologize for the delay in providing you with a detailed notice. This was due to the Secret Shop probability investigations, error verification, and compensation discussions that were carried out.

Following the Episode 4 update, new 2★ Heroes were added to the Secret Shop. With the new Heroes in the shop, the probabilities were adjusted, however, this adjustment also affected the Equipment and currencies probabilities which resulted in the temporary suspension of the Secret Shop.

■ Unavailable Shops: Secret Shop in the Lobby, Huche's Pop-Up Shop in Labyrinth, Goblicus Shop in Adventure, Shops in Raid Labyrinth (Normal/Hell)

It took some time to thoroughly investigate the cause and effect of this issue as well as its correction. We apologize for making our players wait.

All errors have been corrected as of now and all content suspensions lifted.

3. Cause of the Issue:

Following the Episode 4 update, new 2★ Heroes were added to the Secret Shop. With the new Heroes in the shop, the probabilities were adjusted.

Following this error, we investigated the currency probability when new heroes or equipment are added and confirmed that this did not affect other categories in previous updates.

We understand the importance of probabilities in the game and whenever there are suspicions regarding probabilities, we will do our best to resolve them as soon as possible. Learning from this experience, we will prepare preventative measures to avoid such issues through continuous investigations.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused, and we’d like to offer compensation as follows

■ Secret Shop Probability Error and Compensation Information

Compensation will be provided for players who couldn’t access Secret Shop due to the temporary suspension.

[Individual Compensation]

Compensation provided for certain players who used [Refresh] and spent Skystones in the Secret Shop.

1. Eligible Players: Players who used their Skystones to [Refresh] the Secret Shop more than once after 11/11 (Thu) Update ~ 11/14 (Sun)

2. Compensation Distribution Period: 11/15 (Mon) 14:00 ~ 11/25 (Thu) 02:59 UTC

3. Compensation Items: Compensation equivalent to 5% of the times you purchased <Covenant Bookmarks> and <Mystic Medals> will be given.

- The number of purchases will be rounded up, when 5% of the total number of purchases is lower than 1, it will be considered 1.

- If the player did not purchase <Covenant Bookmarks> and <Mystic Medals>, 1 set of each item will be provided as compensation for the issue.

e.g. If a player has purchased <Mystic Medals> once after refreshing Secret Shop 10 times,

-> the 5% of the purchases is 0.05, but it will be rounded up to1.

So 1 set of the item which is 50 Mystic Medals or 5 Bookmarks will be provided.

※ Please Note.

- The compensation will be sent to your in-game mailbox. (Storage period: 7 Days).

- The compensation period for compensation 1, Mystic Medals, is defined above.

ㄴCompensation is not distributed on the day players don’t log in during the distribution period.

- Auto-refresh in the Secret Shop is not eligible to be included in the individual compensation.

We will reflect on our mistakes and do our best to provide a better service for our players.

Thank you team for the detailed explanation as to the time taken to re-enable the shop features. When it comes to explanations and sincerity in wanting to do better in the future we can't fault you there, you're exemplary in that regard. I think the one thing to take away from this is just providing more updates when it's becoming clear there is a lot of "what's happening..?" going on. :)

Over 24 hours of maintenance and the max level shop still has the worst probability. Interesting that it took an entire day to fix and yet nothing else was done about the shop.

Balance has been restored to Galaxy.
Now please address the issue of low level gear appearing with max level shop.
You can flood us with garbage, but at least make it L85 garbage so that when once in a blue moon a good piece appears we can actually make use of it.

Yeah I'm a little disappointed in what seems to be a lesser rate despite what's posted, as well as the meager compensation. I have been waiting to use the shop the for acquiring medals. What gives? I think 500 mystics is a little low for this kind of error. I've spent quite a bit of time and money getting my player rank high enough for the best probilities. I think a larger compensation is in order, liefs and gold are not necessary for veterans players. In all honesty I'm afraid to spend any real money with this dysfuntional shop situation.

  Lel the people who are saying entilted players or whatshit has clearly never felt the pain of pitying 9 banners in a row, refreshing 500-600 ss for 1 bm avg, having no sparks for 70 galaxy summons in a row and probably lucksacked everything so they dont need to complain, because to them 500 mystics = 1 ml5. Never ever considered the pain of the people who has experienced this so they think that this compensation might be good enough for them but what do you think of players who spent 3k skystones to get 5 sets of bookmarks? You think its enough for them? that is why i can relate to OP . AND OFC WE FEEL ENTITLED after getting so much garbage rng. at least wanting as much as he can get from the game. because the game has cheated players like us enough. If you still dont see it, then I hope you will be in our situation one day and you will finally understand.

Just to clarify, we are not getting any of our sky stones back correct. I think I spent about 12k and only got like 900 mystics for that. Does that mean my compensation is 5% of 900?

  No, you're getting 5% of the total times you purchased. So 900/50 is 18, so it's 5% of 18 which is 0.9 thus you're only getting 50 Mystic Medals - enjoy!

  insanely good compensation lul. clearly this guy is a lucksack who sees 500 mm as 1 ml5. Sincerely hope you will be in the shoes of OP and pity gang players like myself so one day so you will understand. to us, 500 mm is a meagre 5% of a pity.
