Roadmap for Veterans [35]

While you can jingle all those fancy shiny things for new players there is not one thing that gets any veteran players excited for an entire year. You still are ignoring massive holes, unfinished modes, broken mechanics and useless lazy designs. And now you are getting ready to launch new modes that are likely not thought out or broken(Like ALL of the existing ones now). Now you are all about shoving merch down our throats. It's pretty clear to see that you have no intention on long term customer retention. I honestly used to go to bat for you guys holding out hope you were on top of things... I gave your team far too much credit. Stop ******* around and hire a few RPG developers to work on the balance side of your game. You WILL NOT be a famous esport when the entire match is a coin toss. You WILL NOT win out on a short cash grab, you will however lose veteran players if all you do is pander to a new player base and leave 75% of game to rot. Here is a list of things you can focus on instead of running around playing pretend as Tama. 


World Boss - Fix the entire **** show of a lazy designed mode
Expedition - 5 elements = 5 bosses. STOP BEING SO LAZY AND DESIGN THEM!

Chapter 2 Unrecorded History - Nearing the END OF CHAPTER 3... wow does that look bad taking that into consideration

Caides sets - Did you even try, I mean honestly... 

Hearts of Orbis - 3 years in and people cannot upgrade the fundamental buildings that as the core backdrop of their "sanctuary" 

Dispatch Missions - What a boring useless thing, flesh out the mode or ******* GET RID OF IT. So much useless bloat like this.
Great Achievement - This should be like HARD to accomplish tasks in game. You are using to prop up another poorly designed mode coming up (WHY DO YOU HATE YOUR OWN GAME)

Guardians - Yeah there are 4 of em.... they level up too, they are all useful! Even this will confuse new players... oh that's the only reason you will address it, got it. Not that it is INSANELY lazy to leave it this way going on 3 years.

4 Star ML's being the most broken **** and the only unit you cannot guarantee to get - Someone want to explain why you clowns do this? I'll wait.
Light and Dark connections - Tied to your dumpster fire mode World Boss, you NEVER put the item in the ******* game! HOW LAZY DO YOU HAVE TO BE TO PULL THAT, WOW! 2 years you left this, wow I mean can I even top this.


GO BACK TO WORK! STOP ACTING LIKE YOU ARE DOING A GOOD JOB BECUASE YOU SO VERY MUCH ARE NOT! Some of things mention are almost as old as the game... that is embarrassing at best. And shameful at worst. You owe it the people who have been steadfast in supporting and playing your game to make it as great as possible. Ignoring glaring issues for years does not speak well for your work ethic or concern for player base.

    My thoughts (multipart, lot to cover):


    World Boss: We are in E3. Still no second WB. Random Rewards with no incentive to get higher score. purely CP based, no need to do the elemental nor Class combo if you have high enough CP. Knights and Healers dont work here due to low CP calculation. Take them out of the rotation


    Expeditions: Fully agree 5 Expeditions should be a thing (and 5 rewards lines accordinlgy as well). No more Elemental Exp. posters drops, instead one universal where YOU select which Expe to tackle.


    UH CH2: Story wise yes. Gameplay you can gt all the catas you want now from Ritania due to increased volumes per week.


    Hearts of Orbis: VERY much agree. By E3 I expected to have the current Sanct. maxed out. Also, add another building.


    Dispatch: Still 2/2 missions only... why ? Double it at minimum


    Great Ach.: Personally I dont care much


    Guardians: Was there even any change ?


    ML4*: Its all about Tsurin, lets be honest here. Pity Galaxy pulls at 200 for a 4*  should be a thing.

    Yo I completely forgot about how they avoided designing 4 more bosses (even though starze,mort,luna) all make great HOT boss candidates they instead go...

    you need a practice period for something that doesn't require resources right...

    awesome we didn't want to do any actual work for another 2-3 years on this mode...

    Fine as is... and then draw anime girl panties all day long... SG's best and brightest at work.

    You are getting very angry at a game that is supposed to get you entertained. Maybe you should give it a break, see real life for a while and rethink your relationship with games for the future.

    I think (anger aside) some good points are made here. There's a huge rush for new units and new modes and new new new new everything but the core elements, things that were promised to players who have been here since the game's launch, are left neglected or unfinished. And we don't even know if they plan to finish any of it because LOOK SOMETHING NEW!

    suggestion for SG

    1. hire new guy to focus on buff and balance on the game like sc, buff heroes, new character, etc (the new guy THAT ACTUALLY PLAY THE GAME, because current balance team is a big joke honestly)

    2. let the old guy focus on their work for future event, collab or old feature

    World Boss - an excuse to give out rewards. It was clearly not designed to be some intensive PvE mode, but just something you did to exchange energy for rewards w/o simplifying the system to that extent. Can the rewards be adjusted, sure, but it's never going to be the sort of mode you seem to want it to be, nor should it really at this point.


    Expeditions - The bosses are ltd b/c the rewards are ltd. You may hate that molas, substat reroll, and reforge mats aren't more plentiful, but that's the purpose. Forcing people to step out of their comfort zone in PvE and build teams and units they otherwise might not is not a bad thing. If they didn't, everyone likely would just do the fire expo and be done with it. 


    UH2 - so far as is known this was never promised, and narratively has no real purpose. Given the pace of main and side stories, I don't even know where you'd fit this in. 


    Caides gear - has been commented on so many times already and they've already said they're working on it.

    Yeah all great points if you were talking a dev cycle describing less than a year. I honestly used to sound exactly the way you did. Until you realize being lazy and flashing shiny objects is the plan. You will get it, don't worry.

    I stopped taking your analysis seriously when you comply with the idea that it's fine to design a glorified slot machine button into an RPG as a GUILD based activity. You clearly do understand jack **** about game design. You just accept that as a valid design principle... I mean holy **** dude if your bar is that low no wonder you blindly defend your waifu simulator.

    After reading all this i'm not sure what's the issue here:


    1 - you like game, so you play it


    2 - you like game, but are getting fuck/ed by 15% so you flame


    3 - you like game, but you want it to be better, so you flame devs and insult them on every step for not doing their work, while you think you know what's good for THEIR game and others who don't flame


    4 - you don't like game, so you flame everyone who likes it, devs included pointing out how bad game is on every step


    Pick one.
