15% innate res theory.. [11]

Having been absolutely ruined in the past hunt events, PvP and expeditions, I put a little thought into it. Although I haven't looked thoroughly,  I haven't seen anywhere in there game guides that it exists either. It's basically an unwritten law we all know, devs and users alike. When this was addressed in the Q&A video, it was very clear they had no intention to work on this, other than may be in new content. So my theory on it is;

they cannot do anything about it because it would require a complete rework of the game mechanics, for all aspects of PvP and PvE alike. Which from a business stand point would require massive down time on all servers thus reducing income while this was underway. 

but the other side of it is, that if they didn't remove it and had to "re-word" every skill that had "100% chance to xx" to " max 85% chance to xx" would, by their business model, require a MASSIVE amount of recall tickets issued .

so really they're ****** if they do, ****** if they don't. Which *** for us.

and yes, this is just a politely worded rant due to getting reemed by 15% innate res on far to many occasions. 

What are your thoughts on this? And also please no "GiT GuD" etc comments. Thanks.

    its actually mentioned in the battle help that you can open during battle
    in the effectiveness and resistance section, you can see that res - eff cannot exceed 15%
    and percentage and eff res are two different calculations, with eff and res determined by the characters, making it impossible to implement inside the effects of heroes and artifacts
    They have some things, like ignore effect resistance soul burns which means they acknowledge their existence

    If you watched the QnA then I’d assume you saw the part where the main developer said that the mechanic is ingrained in the system itself and therefore difficult to completely patch out, it’s not a theory, it’s the truth.

    Is it possible that they can reduce the 15 % ? Like the dual attack chance is around 5 %, so why not halve the 15 % or something ? 7 % or even 10 % doesn't sound bad, i guess...

    Go to any stage, like Spirit Altar, and tap the Question Mark in the top right corner. Go to Help>Effectiveness and Effect Resistance.

    There's also official YT guide

    They also made a post here on the forum but I'm too lazy to look it up.

    maybe instead of removing it they give us an artifact that ignores innate er instead, my def breakers would appreciate that.

    of course only usable in pve, like the dmg artifact from hall of trial or word it like this; "ignores innate resist against elite or boss monster"
