1-1. Hero Balance Adjustments

1-1-1. Moonlight / 5

Briar Witch Iseria

Witch's Curse (Before)

Witch's Curse (After)

Increases Hit Chance by 25% (max 35%).

A successful attack inflicts additional damage on the enemy. Additional damage increases proportional to the caster's Attack.

Upon receiving lethal damage, grants Immortality to the caster for 1 turn. Immortality effect can only be activated once every 5 turns.

Attacks all enemies with a cursed thornbush, dispelling all buffs, with a 75% (max 100%) chance each to decrease Attack and make them unable to be buffed for 2 turns.

Briar Witch Iseria will be adjusted so that she is more influential on the battlefield. First, Witch’s Curse will be modified to grant Immortality for 1 turn upon receiving lethal damage making her more likely to hold out the initial phase of the battle.

Additionally, Cursed Thorn will now have a 100% max chance to decrease Attack and make all enemies unable to be buffed, dragging opponents into disadvantageous situations at a higher chance.

We hope to see Briar Witch Iseria become more controlling in battle with these enhanced skills and viability.

Specimen Sez

Dreamy Iron Mace (Before)

Dreamy Iron Mace (After)

Attacks with an iron mace, with a 50% chance to stun for 1 turn.

Attacks with an iron mace, with a 50% chance to stun for 1 turn. When the target is stunned after the attack, increases Combat Readiness of the caster by 25%.

Evil Claws (Before)

Evil Claws (After)

Attacks all enemies with evil claws, with a 45% chance to stun for 1 turn.

Attacks all enemies with evil claws, with a 60% chance to stun for 1 turn.

Damage dealt increased

Light Storm (Before)

Light Storm (After)

Attacks with a light storm, inflicting extinction and resetting cooldown for this skill when the enemy is defeated. Penetrates Defense by 30%, or by 100% when the enemy is stunned.

Attacks with a light storm, inflicting extinction and resetting cooldown for this skill when the enemy is defeated. Penetrates Defense by 30%, or by 100% when the enemy is stunned. If this skill is available, when an ally except for the caster is attacked, has a 20% chance to counterattack.

Additional improvements in Specimen Sez’s skills will be applied in this balance adjustment as many Heirs have requested.

Specimen Sez has demonstrated his performance, overpowering enemies by penetrating enemy Defense by 100%. However, it has been challenging for our Heirs to design the right conditions or team combinations in which Specimen Sez can show his competence.

With this adjustment, Specimen Sez will continuously contribute to battle even in the early phase when it is not his turn. Also, he is now expected to take his turn more frequently. We expect to slightly ease considerable factors for Heirs to form team combinations.

First, when the skill Light Storm can be used, each time an ally except for the caster is attacked, it will have a 20% chance to counterattack with a basic skill. If his skill, Dreamy Iron Mace, which activates as a counterattack, activates and the enemy is stunned after the attack, he will immediately take advantage by increasing his Combat Readiness by 25%. Additionally, if his skill, Light Storm defeats an enemy, the cooldown of the skill resets and lets the Hero continue to deliver another counterattack at a given chance. Furthermore, Evil Claws will be more likely to stun enemies and deal higher damage as well. After this adjustment, we hope that Specimen Sez will become a Hero who is loved more by our Heirs.

1-1-2. Covenant / 5

Kawerik

Dimensional Corridor (Before)

Dimensional Corridor (After)

Draws the enemy into subspace and attacks, with a 75% (max 100%) chance each to dispel one buff before increasing skill cooldowns by 1 turn twice. Damage dealt increases proportional to the target's Speed.

Attacks the enemy in a dimensional corridor, with a 75% (max 100%) chance each to dispel two buffs before increasing skill cooldowns by 1 turn twice. Damage dealt increases proportional to the target's Speed.

Dimensional Corridor (Awakened) (Before)

Dimensional Corridor (Awakened) (After)

Draws the enemy into subspace and attacks, with a 75% (max 100%) chance each to dispel one buff before increasing skill cooldowns by 1 turn twice. Increases Speed of the caster for 2 turns. Damage dealt increases proportional to the target's Speed.

Attacks the enemy in a dimensional corridor, with a 75% (max 100%) chance each to dispel two buffs before increasing skill cooldowns by 1 turn twice. Increases Speed of the caster for 2 turns. Damage dealt increases proportional to the target's Speed.

Dimensional Explosion (Before)

Dimensional Explosion (After)

Locks all enemies within subspace before triggering an explosion. Penetrates Defense by 30% when the caster is granted increased Speed. Damage dealt increases proportional to the caster’s Speed.

Attacks all enemies with an explosion, silencing for 1 turn, before granting stealth to the caster for 2 turns. Penetrates Defense by 30%. Damage dealt increases proportional to the caster’s Speed.

Kawerik will be adjusted in terms of his overall usage via this Balance Adjustment.

First, upon using Dimensional Corridor, Kawerik will now dispel two buffs from the enemy, so that our Heirs can find it easier to use Kawerik’s Dimensional Corridor when facing enemies with more than one debuff. Furthermore, conditional Defense penetration on Dimensional Explosion will be applied by default. This skill can now penetrate 30% of all enemies’ Defense, inflict silence, and grant stealth to Kawerik to better prepare himself for following turns.

We hope our Heirs can be able to readily utilize Kawerik on your their journey.

Haste

Envoy's Scythe (Before)

Envoy's Scythe (After)

Attacks with an enormous scythe, with a 40% (max 50%) chance to inflict bleeding for 2 turns.

Blood Rend (Before)

Blood Rend (After)

Attacks the enemy with a scythe, making them unhealable and inflicting vampiric touch for 2 turns, and recovers the Health of all allies. Amount recovered increases proportional to damage dealt.

Conditional increase to amount recovered is now applied by default

Vampiric Seal (Before)

Vampiric Seal (After)

Attacks all enemies with Envoy's Scythe, with a 60% (max 75%) chance each to randomly inflict three bleeding effects among the enemies for 2 turns. When there are three or fewer enemies, damage dealt increases with fewer enemies.

Attacks all enemies with Envoy's Scythe, with a 85% (max 100%) chance each to inflict three bleeding effects for 2 turns. When there are three or fewer enemies, damage dealt increases with fewer enemies. Detonates any bleeding effects inflicted on Earth elemental targets at the end of the turn.

Haste will be improved so that he can better perform against Earth elemental enemies. The chance of inflicting bleeding effects by his skill Vampiric Seal will also increase significantly.

First, the chance of inflicting bleeding effects upon using Envoy’s Scythe will increase, along with an additional effect that causes him to steal one buff effect if the target is Earth elemental. Furthermore, a conditional increase in the amount recovered by Blood Rend will become unconditional, always maximizing his ability to recover.

Previously, Vampiric Seal could inflict a maximum of three bleeding effects on the enemies; however, through this balance adjustment, under the assumption that Haste attacks 4 enemies, the chances will become 100%, along with a maximum of 12 bleeding effects. (Three effects on each enemy.) Finally, he can detonate bleeding effects instantly after inflicting the effects, if the enemies are Earth elemental. His cumulative potential damage output will increase significantly.

Yuna

Upgrade (Before)

Upgrade (After)

Acquire 2 Focus

Buffs all allies with a drone and increases Attack for 2 turns.

Acquire 3 Focus

Buffs all allies with a drone and increases Attack for 2 turns.

Acquire 3 Focus

Buffs all allies with a drone and increases Attack and Speed for 2 turns.

Meteor Cannon (Before)

Meteor Cannon (After)

Consume 5 Focus

Attacks all enemies with an enormous and powerful cannon, inflicting huge damage. A successful attack always results in a critical hit. When there are three or fewer enemies, damage dealt increases with fewer enemies.

Consume 5 Focus

Attacks all enemies with a cannon. A successful attack always results in a critical hit. When there are three or fewer enemies, damage dealt increases with fewer enemies. Grants an extra turn to the caster.

Yuna will be adjusted in terms of an increase in the amount of Focus acquired by using the skill Upgrade, and by adding an extra turn to her Meteor Cannon.

Through this adjustment, she will become more readily able to gain Focus in order to use Meteor Cannon, and upon using Meteor Cannon, she can better utilize the additional turn for a cycle of attacks. Therefore, she will also be more readily used in content where non-attack skills are required.

As the attack cycle has been improved for Meteor Cannon, and more Focus can be acquired by the additional turn given, we hope our Heirs can better utilize Yuna.

1-1-3. Moonlight / 4

Free Spirit Tieria

Energy Wave (Awakened) (Before)

Energy Wave (Awakened) (After)

Releases condensed energy at all enemies, recovering Health of the caster proportional to damage dealt. Cooldown of this skill decreases by 1 turn when an enemy is defeated.

Energy Wave (AI) (Before)
Energy Wave (AI) (After)
If Pursuit Cut is available, uses Pursuit Cut with priorityEnergy Wave activates with unconditional priority

Free Spirit Tiera’s Energy Wave will be adjusted.

While the cooldown decrease upon defeating an enemy used to be limited to 1 turn, after this balance adjustment the cooldown will be reset upon defeating an enemy, making it viable for her to use the skill continuously. Since she can utilize the skill without cooldown upon meeting the condition, we hope she will be more readily used in contents where those enemies that can be one-shot appear continuously.

1-1-4. Covenant / 4

When the caster is debuffed after being attacked, dispels all debuffs and increases Attack of the caster for 2 turns. Can only be activated once every 3 turns (max 2 turns).

Skill Description for Khawazu’s skill, Composure (Before) will be adjusted to be more clear in the sequence of activation. There are no functional changes. The changes in the skill description in this notice was based on a translation revision.

Khawazu will be adjusted so that he can better perform in content where non-attack skills are necessary.

Previously, Khawazu could activate Burning Vitality by using his skill Composure, but after this balance adjustment, he will be able to activate it using Flame Strike. This change will make his Burning Vitality activate more often. The skill Composure will retain the ability to increase Attack so that he can still take advantage of such effects when the conditions for activating Composure are met.

In other words, he will activate non-attack skills more frequently, increase Attack buff will remain the same as before, and an increase in Combat Readiness will be added.

Furthermore, debuff inflicted upon using Flame Strike will be changed from Burn to decrease Defense, a debuff of higher value.

1-1-5. Moonlight / 3

Captain Rikoris

Supreme Spear (After)

Attacks all enemies with spear art, with a 75% (max 100%) chance to dispel one buff from the target, before a 75% chance to restrict for 2 turns. Has a 75% chance to stun the enemy with the highest Combat Readiness for 1 turn regardless of whether the attack hits, and recovers the caster's Health. Amount recovered increases proportional to the caster's max Health.

Captain Rikoris will be adjusted so that he can better fight against enemies who consistently increase their Combat Readiness. Upon using Supreme Spear, he will be able to inflict restrict on the enemies to contain enemies with Combat Readiness increase.

We hope our Heirs can better utilize Captain Rikoris against enemies who have the ability to consistently increase their Combat Readiness.

1-2. Artifact Balance Adjustments

1-2-1. Artifact / 4

Flower Shower

Option (Before)

Option (After)

Has a 50% (max 100%) chance to grant increased Attack to the caster for 2 turns when the enemy is defeated.

Increases Effectiveness by 7% (max 14%). When an enemy is defeated, increases Attack of the caster for 2 turns.

Flower Shower will be improved so that the increased attack will be activated unconditionally. Furthermore, increase in effectiveness will be added for better usage.

These are the proposed balance adjustments and improvements that are scheduled for the update on 1/21. We hope to hear the opinions of our valuable Heirs about the changes that have been proposed for this balance adjustment. We will be listening to your valuable voice. We will continue to do our best to ensure that our players can create diverse teams and have fun.

Thank you.

BESTyes yes yes immortality for Biseria, thanks SG, and thanks Global gm team <3 <3

but she cant extend immortality like Kayron, i think she still need a bit more, like S1 lifesteal or regenerate health at the end of turn if her S3 is on cooldown. Or just make her immortality last 2 turn so this will force enemy team to bring buff stripper.

Since our fire pokemon gym leader get buff, I hope his sister Khawana also get buff next patch too, she has the best design of all 4* yet her kits make her very niche. Maybe make her kits only require 1 fire teammate instead of needing all fire heroes team, and her S1 could have more effect.
I want to see more 4* in arena, not just A. momo.

Thank you anyway .The most interesting buff is Spez this really changed his playstyle , this buff have address his issue since he always hard to set up

Free spirit Tieria is now best farmer in the game

The most worry is Kawerik , do you remember Kise ?

blarghfr 5 star there are better hero's to invest on. thats all. just like building haste felt waste of resources. rather use those resources to build some one better. like coz of commander lorina i never needed luna. moreover i feel com lorina is better coz of neutral element. she can be used no matter what ever element enemy is. ( but *** her speciallty change was hard :_: )

    • images
      2021.01.13 19:00 (UTC+0)

epic7#8q23xuI'd hope there is more criticism of luna than that, as she is way above haste in useability and usefulness. Yeah she is pretty much just a dps that is very easy to build, but that's her thing with strong damage behind it. Lorina is comparable in pve due to her passive, but that's it(plus it's pretty much just raid, maybe some abyss or the odd trial for lorina).

PrideWorthis joking, you see the pac man? iknow he is uselles after use his s3

    • images
      2021.01.09 16:20 (UTC+0)

You're clearly not building OP Sigret correctly if you think she needs a buff. She's quite niche, only really being used against barriers, so like any team with FCC. Mine can literally one shot anyone with a barrier, she does her job to remove someone from the fight to allow the rest of your team to follow up.

    2021.01.08 09:21 (UTC+0)

Will Tieria's S2 on auto now trigger before her S3 in accordance to this "farmer" buff she got? That would be sick and mighty convenient. Thanks a ton for your hard work!

Haste buff is cool but make his bleed detonate on everyone not only on earth units
The Buff steal on s1 only on earth units is cool
    The S2 is great

  • images
    2021.01.08 09:27 (UTC+0)

Can we get a different Spez buff? Most people build him tanky, speedy and with zero eff. Instead, they rely on his team to stun since his procs are so low. They're slightly higher after this, but still awful. You're not going to build eff on him even after this, so this buff is basically nothing.

    2021.01.08 09:32 (UTC+0)

Oh the buffs look pretty nice! Although about Kawerik, wouldn’t it make more sense to put his stealth buff on his s2 instead of s3 since that’s what he usually opens up with? Just so he can ensure his s3 follow up better? (Kinda like Kise, but instead of s3 to s2 it’s s2 to s3)
