Let’s take a look at what we have prepared for the first update of the year!
1. Episode 3 Chapter 5 - Wintenberg of the Past
.
The Phantom CIC who entered the chaos gate while chasing Straze fall into an unknown area. As they look for the remaining missing members, they realize that this unknown place is Eureka of the past and that the people here are afraid of the Mad Dragon. So they seek the help of dragons…
Wintenberg of the Past, a piece of land protected by Dragons will now be available.
■ Wintenberg of the Past
[How to Enter]
- Clear Episode 3 stage [4-10. Frozen Shortcut].
[Map Layout]
- Episode 3, Chapter 5, Wintenberg of the Past, consists of 16 main stages including 2 Labyrinth type stages.
[Quests]
- Chapter 5, Wintenberg of the Past, has a total of 10 Quests that players will be able to complete.
- After clearing all 10 Quests in the chapter, players will receive 50 Skystone.
■ Wintenberg of the Past AP Exchange
- Clearing stages in chapter 5, Wintenberg of the Past, will grant the player AP which can be used in this area’s AP Exchange.
[How to Open]
- After clearing stage [5-10 Village in Danger] players will be able to begin the Dragon Valley AP Exchange Quests.
[How to Use]
- Players can receive AP in Wintenberg of the Past and exchange their AP for items in the AP Exchange.
- The items that you can purchase in the Exchange shop will vary according to your Trust level of the nation you are currently in.
- In order to purchase certain items, players will have to increase their Trust level in that nation.
- Players can increase their Trust Level by completing Trust Missions.
- Following the addition of chapter 5, Wintenberg of the Past, 5 Trust missions will be added.
- The Friendly level in Wintenberg AP Exchange will be unlocked.
- The Trust Level will be shared by NPCs in the same nation.
- There is a limit to the number of times players can purchase certain items in the Exchange Shop.
[Main Reward– Pure Soul's Vestige]
■ Monster
- The 2★ monsters, Lapin and Kanin will be added.
■ Story Journal
- Chapter 5, “Spectators from the Future” will be added to the Episode 3 Story Journal.
- Players can receive the background pack, Memories of Home as a reward for clearing all quests in Episode 3, Chapter 5.
2. Special Side Story - Adventures in a Winter Wonderland
Elena and her friends have gone to Wonderland!
They meet various characters as they struggle to retrieve the relic that Fairytale Tenebria stole and return to Constella.
Will Elena and her friends be able to return?
The last week of the special side story Adventures in a Winter Wonderland begins now..

[Week 3 - Enhanced Artifact]
■ Stage Progress
- The last chapter in the special side story will take place in Wonderland.
- Players can proceed to the next stage after they clear the preceding stage.
[Story Stages]
- Story Stages do not require Energy to enter and do not have any battles.
- Story Stages do not provide Event currency.
[Stage Difficulty]
- In the second week of this side story, players can play through one stage with various difficulty levels.
- Players may select a higher difficulty after successfully clearing the one before it.
[MolaGora Challenge]
- The MolaGora Challenge will be unlocked after clearing all stages in the third chapter of Adventures in a Winter Wonderland.
- During the event period, players may only clear this challenge once.
[Gift Stage]
- A Gift stage in Constellan Snowflake Festival will be available once the week 3 Gift stage unlock conditions are met.
1. Gift Stage Information
- Each chapter will have 1 Gift Stage with entry limitations.
- Players can obtain a Gift item that can increase a Hero’s Friendship level.
- Players can obtain 2 Gifts when they clear a Gift stage once.
- Players cannot obtain event currency in this stage. (However, players can obtain event currency from Treasure Chests.)
2. Entry Limit
- Players can enter up to 10 times per chapter.
3. Unlock Condition
- Clear stage [11. The Queen's Throne] in chapter 3 of the side story
4. Acquire Gift
- Please see below for details of the Gift you can receive from this special Side Story.
■ Exchange
- Players will be able to exchange event currency, ‘Wonderland Card’ obtained from battle stages for various items.
- Players will be able to exchange event currency for items up to one week after the Side Story ends.
3. Specialty Change - Zealot Carmainerose
Players will be able to Specialty Change the 3★ Hero Carmainerose into Zealot Carmainerose!
After completing the Specialty Change, Carmainerose will be granted a new sprite, new skills, and new animations!
Additional stat changes and skill enhancements can be made via the Skill Tree.

■ Specialty Change Conditions
The following conditions have to be met before beginning the Specialty Change quests.
- Have Carmainerose Lv. 50
■ How to Complete a Specialty Change
- From the Lobby, go to the Hero menu > Specialty Change.
- Once all 3 Specialty Change Quests have been cleared and the Trial Battle has been successfully completed, the Specialty Change will be complete.
- After completing a Specialty Change, the Hero’s appearance and skills will change, and the Hero cannot be reverted to their previous state.
■ Skill Tree
After a Specialty Change, the Skill Tree can be accessed via the Awakening menu.
Use Elemental Runes to enhance the Runes in the Skill Tree and make your Hero stronger!
[Rune Enhancement Results]
The rune enhancement effects are according to the maximum enhancement standard.
* Order Rune – When attacking, increases Effectiveness by 20% if the target is an Earth elemental Hero.
* Disease Rune – Has a 60% chance to make unhealable for 1 turn when attacking an Earth elemental Hero with Vampirism.
* Wedge Rune – When attacking, increases Effectiveness by 30% if the target is an Earth elemental Hero.
* Guard Rune – Increases Defense by 10%
* Health Rune – Increases Health by 15%.
* Speed Rune – Increases Critical Hit Damage by 10%.
* Perception Rune – Decreases Combat Readiness by an additional 5% when using Vengeful Strike.
* Achievement Rune – Has a 5% chance to grant increased Attack (Greater) to the caster when using Spiteful Annihilation.
* Trust Rune – When buffs are successfully dispelled by Spiteful Annihilation, increases Combat Readiness of the ally except for the caster with the highest Attack by 20%.
* Courage Rune – Increases damage dealt by 10% when attacking a target that has no buffs.
4. Cermia & Border Coin Drop Rate Up
In this Drop Rate Up event, meet Cermia, the Fire elemental Warrior who can contain the enemy through a devastating single attack, and the Warrior exclusive Artifact, Border Coin that can increase the caster’s Attack when using a non-attack skill.

5. Celine & Secret Art - Storm Sword
In this Drop Rate Up event, meet Celine, an Earth elemental Thief who attacks a random enemy when the enemy uses a non-attack skill. Players can also obtain the Thief exclusive Artifact, Secret Art – Storm Sword, which increases the caster’s Attack when an enemy uses a non-attack skill.

6. Japanese Media Update

7. Other Improvements and Adjustments
■ Hero and Artifact
- An issue where the 4★ Artifact, 'XVI. The Tower'’s damage did not stack when it is triggered twice on the same turn will be fixed.
■ Adventure and Story
- Cecilia’s side story, A Long Way Home, will be added to [Journal > Story Journal > Hero Stories].
- An issue where in [Journal > Story Journal > Hero Stories], if you skip the first scene in the first story, the BGM for the same scene is not played when you play the same story again will be fixed.
- Adjustments will be made to the description for the AP Exchange in Episode 1-3 of Unrecorded History.
- An issue where the NPC Clarissa’s skill, Rage, did not activate will be fixed. This issue affected the NPC Clarissa who appears in Episode 1 Chapter [10-5. Bronze Mirror Wall].
- An issue where Ilynav’s name in Episode 3 Chapter [3-9. Bloodstained Tundra] was incorrectly displayed will be fixed.
- Certain typos in Nixied’s Sanctum Zone 5 will be fixed.
- Certain heroes and monsters appear as locked in [Journal > Hero/Monster]. Players will have to fulfill the unlock conditions (acquire hero, clear a certain stage) in order for the heroes/monsters to be displayed.
■ Battle
- A button that will direct players to the current side story will be added to the quick menu.
ㄴ This feature will only be available during the Side Story period. It will not be available during the Side Story reward collection period.
- A button which will allow players to select the next difficulty from the battle results screen will be added to the side story.
- Improvements will be made so that tapping the Difficulty level at the bottom right of the screen will direct players to the ‘select difficulty’ screen.
■ World Arena
- An issue where the turn time limit was consumed when a counterattack is triggered for certain heroes will be fixed.
- An issue where the battle background was not correctly displayed will be fixed.
■ Other
- Improvements will be made to [Sanctuary > Alchemist's Steeple].
ㄴ Equipment Core will be added as a Charm craft material and players will be able to obtain Greater Equipment Charm or Greater Accessory Charm.
ㄴ Improvements will be made so that the current number of Catalysts owned will be displayed when crafting.
- Improvements will be made so that players cannot access the mailbox or inventory from [Alchemist’s Steeple > Craft Catalyst]
- An issue where in Reputation, the back button did not work when the Lasting Effects increased.

i think arch need a change, not a voice, idk with that, but s1 i think doest apply debuff if the hero dont have passive, so s2 only have 35% chance, but isnt all, you star the battle only doing s1, a single target with low damag, every skill has low damag..., i try to do arch with high attack, but doest do really damag, with 4k damag she do 7k (off curse is crit), with 300% crit damag she do 8k (S1 and S3), so.. know this, i dont think she can be a good hero, my guild members want to skips this mystic summon, but meybe i try, for collection...

Unbelievable that dark tyrant tenebria doesn’t have a japanese voice. Do it. I don’t even use the skin because of how cringe the English is when regular specter got such an awesome Japanese voice.

Is there an error for her first specialty change mission? I fought monsters in Ezera but they didnt count towards the mission
No bunny kayron.. 😒 I guess the only way to satisfied myself is to screenshot him if he show up in the story.
When will we have another Breath of Orbis on AP Shops again?

Are you ever going to update the labyrinth in previous chapters? Six months and the “planned update” still hasn’t happened.

ML Mercedes (the 5 star) seems promising to me. Really dislike the voice acting but I'm using JP voice or no audio most of the time anyways. People calling her trash are the same people that said Alencia is bad and Cerise sucks. I'm definitely pulling for her.
SC Carmainerose looks so so sweet as well. Too bad it looks like she will be solely a golem killer.
Why is arch demon shadow VA so weird? I thought it was gonna be archdemon Mercedes voice. I’m pretty bummed about this but I hope they do something about it.
Can you please buff luna and elphelt. There the worst limited heroes.

For real SmileGate, what is with these repeat heros? I started playing in July, and since then I've seen repeats of Haste, Lidica, Vivian, and Cermia, when there's plenty of other heros that haven't even got a rotation (OG Luluca, for instance, which I've been waiting forever for.) Don't repeat before we've had a chance at everyone, please.
Luluca ran a little before you started playing. I started playing in April and that's when Lulu was up. They do repeat people, but since I've started playing every character except Alencia has had a banner and Alencia is coming in a couple weeks. I don't think they have a repeating problem when they get to everyone within a year. Plus they try to post characters that match the story or side story most of the time
Another week without any news about hero balancing. Smh
balance is planned for last week each month, and usually the heads up come a week prior to it.
Luna buff when ? don't need more word to explanation
Love the QoL changes, the new ring from the story could become a rather good Tama ring if it rolls correctly.
However, while not in these notes but rather based on the stream today, I am not a huge fan of how you are doing Archdemon Mercedes, I mean Archdemon's Shadow, and her imprints. On a bright side, that she is put into the whale store permanently means you can just skip her in the Mystic Summons and rather wait until you get 4 dupe ML5 in the future, but that she is classified as her own unit rather than a Mercedes that could at least use the already existing Dark ML4, Celestial Mercedes, feels awkward, almost like a cash grab of sorts. It makes me worry about how Straze is handled if he happens to be a Dark ML5 unit as well. Another unit in the whale store that require four dupes to get a merge if you are saving Slates for Limited units? Unless it's a dupe of Straze himself that is. Is that how this is going to be handled going forward? A fan of this patch, but not ADS.
The new Archdemon's Shadow's voice acting is so bad, you can hear that the woman literally forces herself to have a deep voice.
It's even worse than Elena's.
