Hello, this is Epic Seven.­­

We sincerely appreciate the interest and support of all of our Heirs who have continued in their adventure with us in Epic Seven.

 

With this balance adjustment, we plan to implement changes to 7 Heroes and 5 Artifacts, with these changes taking effect after the update on 11/26.

1. Targets

With this balance adjustment, certain Heroes and Artifacts that have been absent in the current meta will be adjusted. The target of these adjustments can be seen below.

Attacks with an evil eye, recovering the caster to max Health when the enemy is defeated. Damage dealt increases proportional to the caster's lost Health.

With this balance adjustment, Sage Baal & Sezan will be improved to have more influence in battle, even when his skill, “Cloud of Ruin" is in cooldown.

With this change, Sage Baal & Sezan will have more utility in battle due to the Combat Readiness increase effect that occurs when the attacked enemy is put to sleep. Additionally, “Cloud of Ruin” will now have a higher chance to inflict Sleep on all enemies, allowing him to be more powerful in battles.

“Eye of Death” will also be improved so that it will now penetrate the enemy’s Defense, allowing him to inflict more damage. If the enemy has been eliminated with this skill, the caster’s Health will be recovered to max and he will inflict Silence on all remaining enemies. When soulburned, all of Sage Baal & Sezan skill cooldown times will be decreased.

The Will of La Mare (Awakened) (Before)

Smashes the enemy with a sword and attacks. Penetrates Defense by 50%. Deals increased damage against Dark elemental enemies. Recovers Health of the caster proportional to damage dealt.

※ 11/16 Edition: Skill descriptions for The Will of La Mare (both awakened and unawakened) were edited for clarity regarding (1) defense penetration and (2) stat from which that affects the additional damage inflicted upon awakening. There are no functional changes.  


With this improvement, Little Queen Charlotte will be even more effective against enemy teams that utilize Dark elemental Heroes. The amount of damage dealt by her skill, “Judgement” will be increased. In addition, her skill, “The Will of La Mare” will now inflict additional damage on all enemies except the caster when attacking a Dark elemental Hero.

Summons a mystical bow to attack the enemy, before increasing the caster's Combat Readiness by 15%.

Damage dealt by this skill will be increased

 

In this balance adjustment, we’ve focused on improving Cerise’s ability to continuously contain the enemy due to her high speed.


Following this balance adjustment, Cerise’s skill 3, Frost Storm, will deal higher damage than before and attack using an advantageous element. With these improvements, she will be able to deploy more powerful attacks and more effectively inflict effects on enemies without missing.

Furthermore, Luminous Explosion will be granted an additional debuff, which is unable to be buffed, which will further increase her ability to weaken enemy team combinations. If Mystical Arrow is used while Frost Storm is on cooldown, she will trigger a Dual Attack from a random ally. This improvement will also serve to reinforce Cerise’s potential to bring about differences to the battlefield.

Fires at the enemy and increases the caster's Combat Readiness by 15%. Effect is doubled when the enemy is buffed.

The Chief Is on the Scene (Before)

The Chief Is on the Scene (After)

Increases the caster's Attack by 10% after attacking. This effect can only stack up to 5 times. At the start of the turn, gains 10 Fighting Spirit for each buff granted to an enemy, and when Fighting Spirit is full, resets skill cooldown. Starts the first battle with 50 Fighting Spirit.

Increases the caster's Attack by 20% after attacking. This effect can only stack up to 3 times. At the start of the turn, gains 10 Fighting Spirit for each buff granted to an enemy, and when Fighting Spirit is full, resets skill cooldown. Starts the first battle with 50 Fighting Spirit.

Full Burst (Before)

Fires at all enemies and grants the caster increased Speed for 2 turns. When Fighting Spirit is full, consumes all Fighting Spirit to increase damage dealt, and increases Combat Readiness of all allies by 15%.

Landy will be improved in two ways. She will reinforce herself at a faster pace than before and she will be able to better support her allies.


Her skill 1, Fire will be improved in regards to having a higher damage output as well as having an increased amount of Combat Readiness and Fighting Spirit acquired. Her passive skill, The Chief Is on the Scene, will be improved so that she can stack increased Attack effect at a faster pace.


There will also be improvements to Full Burst, which supports her allies even when her Fighting Spirit is not at maximum level. In addition, we have also granted a 50% defense penetration effect when her Fighting Spirit is at maximum level. Furthermore, the Soulburn effect will be changed so that it grants an additional turn, which will enable her to sequentially attack her enemies.

Has a 75% chance to provoke all enemies for 1 turn, before a 100% chance to decrease Attack for 2 turns. Increases Defense of the caster for 2 turns.

Cooldown: 5 turns

Morale Boost (Awakened) (Before)

Has a 50% chance to provoke and decrease Attack of all enemies for 1 turn. Increases Defense of all allies for 2 turns.

Has a 75% chance to provoke all enemies for 1 turn, before a 100% chance to decrease Attack for 2 turns. Increases Defense of all allies for 2 turns.

Cooldown: 5 turns

Cooldown: 4 turns

 

Maya was intended to be able to contain her enemies by provoking them and inflicting decrease Attack as well as being able to protect her allies by granting them increased Defense. However, due to her skills’ low activation chance, she was not widely used.


With these improvements, Morale Boost will now have a higher chance of inflicting both provoke and decrease Attack on her enemies. The duration of these debuff effects will be extended while the cooldown will be decreased by 1 turn. In addition, Concuss will be able to decrease the enemy’s Combat Readiness, enabling her to be more effective overall in regards to containing her enemies.

Doll Maker Pearlhorizon will be adjusted so that she can easily use Endless Nightmare right after using Hypnosis.


When using Hypnosis, her Combat Readiness will increase according to the number of Sleeps debuffs inflicted with Hypnosis. Her Speed Rune effect will also be improved so that she can inflict decreased Speed at a higher chance.


The Soulburn effect for Endless Nightmare will be renewed to ignore the enemy’s Effect Resistance, allowing her to contain enemies more effectively.

1-2. Artifact Balance Adjustments

Guiding Light is an Artifact that improves to the survivability of Ranger class Heroes by granting Stealth to the caster at a given chance. Through this Balance Adjustment, this Artifact will also grant stealth at the beginning of the battle, further increasing the survivability of the caster.

Bastion of Perlutia

At the start of battle, grants the ally with the highest Attack a barrier equivalent to 30% of the caster's max Health for 2 turns.

Bastion of Perlutia is an Artifact that protects the ally with the highest Attack on the team.

We hope this Artifact will provide better protection for your ally, thanks to the newly granted Immunity buff.

Dux Noctis

Increases Attack of the caster by 2% when an ally makes a critical hit. Effect can only stack up to 12 times.

Increases Attack of the caster by 4% when an ally makes a critical hit. Effect can only stack up to 8 times.

 

Dux Noctis will be improved so that the increases in Attack stack at a quicker pace than before and at a higher percentage than before.

1-2-2. Artifact / 4

 

Andre's Crossbow

100% chance to increase Attack of the ally except for the caster with the highest Attack for 2 turns when the caster uses a non-attack skill.

 

Silver Rain will be improved so that it grants an Increased Attack buff to the ally with the highest Attack, increasing strategic usage of the Artifact.


This concludes our preview for the balance adjustment that will take place on 11/26.     BESTSo we get a Haste Side Story. A Haste Banner. But no Haste buff/rework. Instead you overbuff Cerise so you can make people whale for her in her future banner otherwise the buff makes no sense. Cerise wasn't bad but now her banner is sure to come soon. This is so bad it's laughable.

      the point is to make him viable in his nieche. and also have a proper kit that reflects his fantasy, aka a dope bloodsucking vampire with a huge sycthe. His s1 gets powercreeped by 4star units like khawana and surin. His kit is okay, but not very effective in the current game state, much like Luna. At the very least, he desperatly needs an EE

      EtremaFor me it was 1. I play heroes I like or look fun to me. I’m assuming owlet does so too. You as well. I just got incredibly annoyed with you calling his post silver rank trash. That’s incredibly insulting just because he didn’t justify his use of her. If you feel like she needs a better kit to have more options, that’s perfectly okay. It’s your right. Especially if she’s a favorite of yours.

    2 limited heroes are going to be buffed. But from now to 11/26, we'll see a lot of post comment about players who don't have those limited heroes, and they will forced the developer team for a compensation. And maybe under community pressure, they will not buff 2 limited heroes exactly the way they describe today.

    Cerise got really nice buff!!!!
    finally I have someone to deal with Kayron, he's annoying lately

    love her skill 1 buff, and this one;
    [and making them unable to be buffed for 2 turns. ]

    I'm glad we have more character that could inflict unbuffable debuff, especially with fire and ice heroes because I need more option to deal with Kayron, and Fallen Cecilia.     A bit disappoint that Landy didn't get some survivability tho, wish she would get some kind of self-heal when her gauge is full.



    I'll wait for Holiday Yufine to get some love next time, her passive should also reduce enemy combat readiness pushing, so she can help us prevent any speed pushing meta in the future.

      loliconvestare you R3tarded? she have better base speed than those 3 unit and the buff doesn't related to her speed or enemies CR at all and how the R3tarded you think those buff will help her with that? that Basar you talk about will still at least on the 2nd turn the he have beast speed gear. there is no escaping it.

      loliconvestBasar has laughable base spd of 108. Cerise has 119.

    Cerise buffs are too much. She really doesn't need anything other than the s3 buffs. Otherwise the rest are agreeable.

    Also please consider giving Captain rikoris %max health scaling damage, so he can be a good bruiser.

      There are so many chars that could become viable if they only got the “scales with hp/def/attack” in their skills. ML Aither, SC butcher, SC Carrot, Clarissa, Dingo, Khawazu, Surin, and many 3* units. Honestly expected to see a couple buffs like this after they pushed out one for Gpurrgis the last time. They seriously need to give covenant 3-4* some space in the meta

      Rikoris is not meant to be a bruiser though. He's supposed to be a tank like G Purrgis. That's why it makes no sense why the wasted half of his SC tree on dmg runes.

    So landy is getting buff, meanwhile luna got a sad EE. What about the reasonable people who didn't pull landy because we know she was so bad?
