Hello. This is Epic Seven.
We would like to sincerely thank all of our Heirs for the love and support that they continuously show Epic Seven.

Today, we would like to give you more details regarding a topic that many of our Heirs have been anxiously waiting for, duplicate 5 Hero summons.

In Epic Seven, when you summon the same Hero twice, you can Memory Imprint that Hero, thus strengthening that Hero’s stats. There are some Heirs that have already fully Memory Imprinted certain Heroes and we realize the disappointment that our Heirs may feel when they summon a duplicate 5 Moonlight Hero which are hard to attain.

To relieve the loss that our Heirs feel when this happens, we will introduce a Coin Shop in Epic Seven.

Before we give you more information regarding these duplicate summons, we would once again like to thank all our Heirs for their patience. We hope that many of our Heirs will find even more enjoyment in Epic Seven with the addition of this Coin Shop.

1. How to Acquire Coins

When a player summons the same 5 Moonlight or 5 Covenant Hero more than a specified number of times, each additional summon will grant a certain number of Galaxy Coins or Covenant Coins. The standard for the specified number of summons is as follows.

For example, if you have summoned the 5 Moonlight Hero, Maid Chloe twice, you will receive 10 Galaxy Coins along with your Maid Chloe. Additionally, if you summon the 5 Covenant Hero, Tamarinne seven times, with that summon you will acquire her as well as receive 8 Covenant Coins.

3. Coin Distribution Details

According to the guidelines given above, we plan to provide Galaxy and Covenant Coins in a lump sum for duplicate Heroes that our Heirs have summoned so far in accordance with the Coin Shop update. Following the update, the number of times a Hero has been summoned will be displayed in the Hero Journal. Please note that we will still distribute the appropriate number of Coins even if a player no longer has the duplicate Heroes in their inventory as they may have used them for memory imprint, to upgrade, etc.

We would like to apologize in advance for the fact that it may take a considerable amount of time to complete a full investigation into all of the Heroes summoned by our Heirs since the start of Epic Seven. We will carry out a careful investigation in order to provide our Heirs with accurate details.

This is all we have for you in today’s Developer Notes. We aim to update the game with this shop during the second half of this year. We will give you more information regarding the update date as soon as we can.

Thank you for all the support you have shown Epic Seven. We will continue doing our best to provide you with the best service possible.

Thank you.

BESTWe don't even get ML5s how are we ever going to get dupes of them. But beggars can't be choosers, so overall a great update, but it'd be even more good if you guys decide to implement a ML5 pity in Galaxy Summons.

And I'd like to point out a good idea from players below that why limit the Galaxy coins acquisition to only ML5 dupes? Isn't it only natural that players should be getting them when also pulling ML4 dupes? Because most of the players only get ML4 dupes, ML5s are rare, so it's only natural that players should be able to get coins even from ML4 dupes, of course, the amount should be lower than the amount you get from ML5 dupes, that balances it out. If the above suggestion is implemented, players who haven't been getting ML5 should be able to get them even if they aren't crazy lucky.

BESTAn interesting implementation. Making a separate hero rotation in a shop (akin to artifacts) is an excellent idea, well done.

My only gripe is the coin cost, which I find too high. While I understand that you don’t want players to acquire all characters too fast, it still feels a tad too high. I would’ve cut the amount to something like 30 for ML and 48 for covenant.

Nonetheless, this is a positive change, so thank you.

DarkBlueVNWhy does people keep yelling about ML 4* duplication when this is the system and solution for ML 5* ONLY, it's still a GACHA game so let's keep it, how the hell you think you can get a ML 5* by exchanging duplication of ML 4*, this will break the GACHA rule!!!!
I would feel bad about ML5* duplication because it's really really hard to get and frustrated when it's a dupe, but with ML 4* duplication, it's not so bad at all, so don't ask the dev team to get benefit for something you don't feel bad of it just because you think you can get it with your bad luck :)

DarkBlueVNIt might not be a problem if we get different ML 4* and occasional dupes. But if you have been constantly getting the same ML 4* dupes to the point that you already triple S both the ML and RGB version, you would feel heartbroken too (especially when you are free to play). Every ML summon is precious. The reason many people bring up ML 4* dupes is because this is a system that could potentially kill 2 birds with 1 stone and SG should at least consider it.

Glad people like me get an edge above those "lol got this irrelevant hero in one try F2P btw" yeah almost like companies prefer spenders over bums. Hopefully this further widens the gap between F2P and P2P competitively.

      2020.08.07 12:12 (UTC+0)

You know, I got Hyufine in first pull then I could have enough bms to get my Cermia (who is already built too)

      f2p btw

Oh look a person who thinks they are owed something because they have a gambling problem. I have 7 different ML 5*, and currently 4 ML 5* dupes. I'm looking forward to getting my 8th ML 5*. By the way, I'm F2P.

i really like this solution, to be able to keep the dupes for imprints and still getting something out of it

EtremaNah it should be 10 or 20 why? Because ml 5s are damn near impossible to get and if pull a ml 5 why cant I exchange it for 10 coins to get a unit I want down the line? It's not op it's fair its equal value now if I get. Dupe I have to wIt 2 years probably till I can get a  New unit Outta it and at the cost of 4 ml 5s lol I'm still gonna be sad Nd depressed if I pulll  a ml unit to me the situation isnt fixed

OwletWell, to be honest they already being generous by making this system. I would understand if they make dupe coin shop only for RGB heroes - many other games does the same, however we're talking about ML units here. Basically, the PVP game changers and even upper hand units in the PVE as well - and this is on top of "recall" system they made exactly one year ago. What I'm trying to say is that it would be super great to have a "sell a dupe" option but even if they won't add it that's fine. My only reason of proposing this - is I'm afraid that by the time my dream ML5 hero's rotation comes in the shop I won't have enough coins for it and even if I do get the dupes later - it may take several months or even year to have my wanted hero to come back in rotation. It's totally for my personal benefit in the first place but there might many fellow players in the same situation, so this addition would help to them as well

I think is still a little bit expensive but something is something

  • images
    2020.08.07 09:10 (UTC+0)

In all fairness this is not bad. More so for veterans than new players but pretty decent. needing 4 duplicates for an ml is a bit much but since you can control who you get i think its fair. The molas help but please dont let this be your mola fix. If you want to leave 5* as is fine but do something for 4*.

zalibidezWell I only have 5 ml 5s units if your just lucky or or either unlucky tbh its l rng afterall but most players are like me

    • images
      2020.08.10 16:10 (UTC+0)

zalibidezYa but I'm getting a ml 5 dupe anyway bruh it's only fair to exchange that unit to get a unit I dont have its equal exchange a ml 5 for a ml 5 to the very least they should change it to 20 coins  4 ml 5s is to much for one new unit
