Makes a long post complaining and calls out complainers. I don’t know why it’s so hard to understand that permanent free equip removal would ruin the game.

Thats so hard for you to read the whole message and understand that the OP is talking about "Free unequip weekends" and not a permanent removal? There was a small hint on the topic's title.

If you have an argument against this, please tell us, its a forum dedicated to discussion. There are plenty of arguments (good ones and stupid ones) against permanent removal, but most of them do not apply on weekend only removal. 

On my side free unequip weekends give much more benefits than problems. 

I doubt they will do it, because the unpredictability is what makes people use their gold. If all weekends had free unequips, people would barely ever spend gold to unequip.

Such mechanic  is also a way to regulate the gold economy in the game. While I don’t have the statistics, it may be significant enough that such a change may require changes elsewhere to balance it out. And I doubt it’s the priority for them right now. Game economy is something that’s hard to calibrate, but easy to destroy.

Last but not least, and I keep telling this to people: Remember that it’s a business first, and a game second. Some aspects of the game that you find “slow” or ”frustrating” is done so on purpose. Paying for unequiping is absolutely made with economic purposes in mind. I mean, you dont pay your country a fee every time you change clothes, right.

Exactly as @Gachapin said, there is an economy behind the economy. The rate and means at which players can get gold, how that relates to energy used to farm other things, the gear progression - it's all interconnected to form the economy of how the developers behind this game make their money. To change something one place is to change it somewhere else so that their IRL economy hits the marks they've got set for it. A free unequip every weekend - when most people are playing anyway - would seriously cut the cost of moving gear that players in general terms are paying right now. You likely want that gold to do something else like shop refresh hunting or gear forging, which speeds up your progress on that end. That further cuts the cost of energy spent on farming. That all leads to the aggregate of players not spending as much money on the game.

Can and should they make some changes? Sure. But weekly free unequip, like the whole mola reset thing that keeps coming up, is not likely.
