Ray Improvement [10]

Everyone saying that Ray is only good for PvE and cause Destina and DJB is way better than him as they say, then how about this slight buff to make him "better" both in PvP and PvE?



Skill 1: Extreme Remedies 

(Before): Attacks by throwing a bottle, dispelling one debuff from an ally.


(After): Attacks by throwing a bottle, dispelling two debuff from an ally.


Skill 2: Light of Rebirth

(Before): Radiates light upon all allies, recovering Health and granting a barrier for 2 turns. Amount recovered and barrier strength increase proportional to the ally's max Health.


(After): Radiates light upon all allies, dispelling 1 debuff each, recovering Health and granting a barrier for 2 turns before increasing the casters combat readiness by 20%. Amount recovered and barrier strength increase proportional to the ally's max Health.


Skill 3: Invigorate

(Before): Invigorates the team by dispelling all debuffs inflicted on all allies, and grants immunity for 2 turns before recovering Health. Amount recovered increases proportional to the target's max Health.


(After): Invigorates the team by dispelling all debuffs inflicted on all allies, and grants immunity for 2 turns, recovering Health before increasing the casters Combat Readiness by 40%. Amount recovered increases proportional to the target's max Health.

    S1 Two dispell two debuffs - Elena

    S2 Dispell one debuf(momo) and increase cr(djb)

    S3 Increases his cr(diene\tama)


    Also add an EE that grants atk\def buff to include Elson and we are all set

    Destina? Better than him? Destina is the worst soul weaver in the game.


     

    I used him in pvp and pve. Still need to farm a bit more to make him faster but he's been great so far. Best pull in months.


    My only complaints would be:

    S3- Heal has small multiplier, only 15% should be 20% unless they plan on decreasing cooldown with EE.

    S2- Same as above. The shield's multiplier is kind of weak, only 10% up to 15% fully upgraded. Should be at least 14% base up to 21% fully upgraded.

    S1- Elena's weaker s1. Should heal on cleanse for 5% of target's hp. This skill does nothing if there aren't any debuffs. And before anyone says it'd be OP because 'heal and cleanse' . Destina has 7% base healing on s1 regardless of debuffs awhich goes up to 9.45% with mola investment.



    I hope they give him these small buffs. He's pretty good and I definietely doesn't need much to be great. If they increased his shield value and decreased cd of s3 through EE he'd be perfect.

    Sorry but that's a really big upgrade. XD still sounds interesting but for Exclusive Equipment -> players will have to make a choice.


    Not really excited for an update but if we should have one :

    Improvements (small rework) :

    S1 - Dispels one debuff and has 5% additionnal chance to deal a dual attack with any ally.

    And that's it. If you want him to heal with his S1 -> Celestine artifact.


    Exclusive Equipment :

    S1 - A % chance to inflict Poison on the basic skill. 

    S2 - Reduce skill cooldown (-1).

    S3 - Grants deff buff for all allies.


    S1 His lore told he is specialized in poisons (and antidotes then).

    Could be useful for Abyss and Hunts for HP scaled damage.

    S2 Spam shields.

    S3 could be very annoying with a def buff in PvP on bulky team and usefull in PvE. Always a big cooldown on it but a buff that can increase your survavibility.

    - Isn't this too much for 3 turns colddown with AOE heal+barrier?

    - Nope, each hero has it own good.  

    DJB can clean all debuffs and CR boost but he lack of healing.  After S3, all he can do is pray for 35% stun.

    Destina has better healing ability. But Ray has faster speed (110).  Ray has 26 more speed than her (21+5 SPD set bonus)


    If you need heal+clean+immunity with good speed. He is a good choice.

    If I want him to change/buff, I want him to be unique super speed healer instead.


    S3 - It's OK. No need to change


    S2 - Before 10% heal/barrier to 8% heal/barrier and lower colddown 3 > 2 turns


    S1 - Clean one debuff and increase his CR by 10%. If success dispel debuff, get additional 10% CR increase.


    He will be very super speed clean same as Monmo.  S2 lack of healing but you can equip Rod or Diene AF to increase healing ability.  Or equip Tome (30% CR+) for faster skills cycle.

    For any character, S3 can only have 3 types of effects max, never a 4. That there has 4 types: dispel debuffs, grants immunity, aoe heal and CR push, so that's a no. Same as your suggested S2, has more quirk than any soul weaver's S3 so that's a ridiculous idea. And S1, you trying to copy Elena's S1? Just give him Wondrous Potion artifact, problem solved. I disagree to all of this suggestions. There's a limit to being demanding.

    These are not slight buffs by any stretch of imagination. He does lack self CR push to cycle his turns faster like Momo, but I feel that he can be built fast enough to cycle. If he were to receive a buff it should be either increasing the barrier strength on his S2, decrease the cooldown on it so his heals are more consistent, or remove the barrier altogether and give him self CR push.

    Wut? Tbh I wouldve happy with 3 inmunity turns.... or at least pulling him.
