Ray needs a buff to his modifiers [21]

As the title says. His heals are quite mediocre for a 5 star. However, the one thing that really annoys me is how pathetic the barrier he provides is. Does anybody else feel that the modifiers for his barrier and heals are very underwhelming for a 5 star?

    I thought the same too. Heal effect can be enhanced with S.Staff but my goodness, the barrier is nowhere to be found!!!! Where is the white shield bar... oh 2 bars? Eeew.


    PS - Maxed mola on S2 and S3 btw.

    No, I think it's OK. His S2 help both heal and barrier with 3 turns colddown and all allies.  So barrier definitely has low %.

    If you enchance his S2 at max, the barrier is 15% maxhp same as Angelica S3 but with target max HP and 1 turn lower colddown.


    If they want to buff or change, I prefer to lower heal/barrier down 10% to 7.5-8% and lower colddown to 2 turns.

    Well what you can expect. The barrier based on tgt hp rather than caster hp. I knew his barrier would be weak on glass cannon comp since I saw the character reveal.


    Try to use it on tanks comp.


    What suprise me you're saying that his heal is suck. Well time to stick with destina then

    To all: 


    thanks a lot for posting your experience with him.I've having a hard time deciding if i will pull for him or not.

    i have destina (0 mola), roana (0 mola), motmo, angelica(+15), ssachates(0 mola), fire achates(0 mola), ruele (0) mola.


    im having a hard time deciding if i will pick ray or not.i'm having a hard time with debuffers like dizzy and ssb.

    roana is not enough, because once i got the unhealable, my team is not healling.

    even if i have fast roana, when unbuffable kicks in as well, im having a hard time.


    same with destina, to slow, then my team might die.

    too fast, then i will waste a turn since i dont want to s3 since nothing to clear.and even if i clear debuffs, 

    i might still get debuff on the next turn (unlike ray with immunity)


    but seeing the reviews, and your analysis on his multipliers, i think im also going to pass on him.

    He is terrible so terrible this can be consider a fodder banner. 


    Who the hell makes fastest soul weaver with a ridiculous low hp multiplier, sorry let me rephrase that-


    Who the hell makes a soul weaver with barrier and heals proportioned to targets hp. We don't have control over the heals of if is due to targets, we have more control over heals when is heals on casters max hp because we can control its hp stats. 


    I pulled him on my 2nd accnt because I needed heroes but manb glad I didn't pity him.

    His shield multiplier is pretty bad only- 10% . I'd expect it to be at least 15%. His s3 healing is bad too BUT if his EE decreases his s3 cd I'd say it'd be fine. Although small buff to it wouldn't hurt- from 15% to 20%.

    At best (max molas), Ray's auto playstyle goes something like:


    i) Skill 3 -> 22,5% AoE heal (target's max HP) + full cleanse + immunity for 2 turns

    ii) Skill 2 -> 20% AoE heal (target's max HP) + 15% AoE shield (target's max HP)

    iii) Skill 1 -> 1 random debuff removal

    iv) Skill 1 -> 1 random debuff removal


    Considering well geared comps, we can assume DPS to be at around 10k HP, bruisers at around 15k and tanks and/or HP scaling units at 20k. In short, Ray at best provides 14,4% max target's HP sustain per turn. For S3+S2:


    * For DPS: 4250 healing +1500 shield --> 1437 max EHP/turn

    * For Bruisers: 6375 healing + 2250 shield --> 2156 max EHP/turn

    * For tanks: 8500 healing + 3000 shield --> 2875 max EHP/turn 


    Being quite fragile and not having any form of self CR push himself, makes it so Tome and Water artifact become that much more relevant for keeping up with cleanse+immunity, reducing his potential for extra healing through artifacts, be it burst (Rod) or complementary (Celestine).
