Hunt 11 ~ 13 Planned Changes Notice [115]

Hello, this is Epic Seven.

 

We would like to thank our Heirs for the interest and support shown for newly expanded Hunt Stages which were introduced to everyone in the update that occurred on 4/16. After hearing your feedback, we would like to inform our Heirs of upcoming changes that will occur to Hunt stages 12 and 13. These changes will be in regards to the Crafting Materials, Reforging Materials, and Equipment which can be obtained from these stages.

Removal of Lv.70 Equipment

 

1) Change: Lv. 70 Equipment Drop Rate Adjustments 

 


We have received many opinions from our Heirs regarding the fact that Lv. 70 equipment was obtainable from Hunt stage 13. We have taken to heart our Heirs’ opinions and we will adjust the drop rate of Lv. 70 equipment in Hunt stages 11 ~ 13.

We will first adjust the drop rates for Lv. 70 Equipment from Hunt Stages 11 and 12. Furthermore, Lv. 70 Equipment will no longer be dropped from Hunt Stage 13., given that it is a new Hunt Stage with new gimmicks added. We hope our Heirs keep on challenging for higher stages of Hunt, to acquire better rewards.




2) Change: Equipment Crafting and Reforging Materials Adjustments

 

With the implementation Equipment Reforging in this update, the main reward for the Hunt stages was intended to be reforging materials which could obtained consistently. With that in mind, first waves in Hunt 11 and above have the chance to drop either crafting materials or reforging materials. However, our Heirs have expressed concerns that, it was too difficult to consistently obtain crafting materials.

- Rewarded in the 2nd Wave 

- Average drop quantity to be acquired will be maintained.

The quantity of crafting material dropped was increased by up to 100% compared to before the update. This change was made so that players can craft equipment in a similar manner as before, but in order to reflect the valuable opinions of our Heirs, we are planning to adjust it so that players are now guaranteed to obtain equipment crafting material in the first waves. With the increase in the drop quantity of crafting materials, we look forward to our Heirs being able to get the equipment they want. 


Equipment reforging materials will have the possibility to be obtained from the Second Wave rather than the first wave. The probability of obtaining equipment reforging materials will increase according to the difficulty. The expected number of reforging materials to be acquired after multiple hunts, will remain similar.


The changes announced above are scheduled to be applied with the update occurring on April 30th. Based on the changes made to Hunt 12 and 13, we hope that our Heirs will be able to better enjoy this new content and have a higher sense of achievement when playing Hunt.

    Hunt 13 should've guaranteed drop rate for new upgrade currency, or reduce the amount needed for upgrade by 70%.

      If it would be easy, everyone will call for:Where ist hunt 14/15 ??? and then: its to hard!


      You need to get stronger and its possible ! (btw: I cleared it once, and failed 5 times - it depends a lot on RNG and landing of debuffs - so its more a game of luck)

    thanks for the fast changes and also thank you that there was no nerf to the difficulty, hunt 13 should be hard and not nerfed into the ground like automaton tower sadly was

    SO close, but not quite. Reforge and crafting mats should both be guaranteed in wave one. Adding it to wave 2's pool is going to make it take even longer to reforge a single piece.

      they said that even though we wont get regorge mats in 1st wave the average amount will be the saem so it seems we'll get ess batches of mats with more mats per batch. So it will, supposedly, wont be an issue

    Removing i70 gear from hunt 13 wasn’t a smart choice. We do farm w13 for crafting and reforge materials mainly. You just had to increase the amount and separate it from casual drops like you’ll do. Those who cries about to get i70 removed from 13 can’t probably beat 12 properly.

    While i think your intentions are the right one, I dont really know if its the right desicion.

    Few things to note:

    - this will reduce the overall gold gain from Hunts as the selling of 70 gear was a decently big part of gold gain from hunts (with lobby pet)

    - will the reforging materials share the loottable with other gear drops or are they on a different loottable?

      STOVE94987786It seems like you dont understand. If they were to remove 70 gear from the loottable you really think they will be just replacing it by 85 gear? They will not - they might increase the chance of getting gear a little but the % of 70 gear will not go to 85 gear but something like Energy, Reforging Mats and so on.


      Also I'm as Endgame as it gets, since I play this game from day 1.

      STOVE94987786Just selling blues would be an option if they were to increase the 85 gear drop rate, but that's unlikely

      As you can see (and people gotta pay attention to details) its not mentioned anywhere that the other gear drops will have increased drop rates, it just mentions that the 70 is getting lowered or removed (in case of W13), i even doubt the drop rate will go to anything else

      People need to stop making assumptions about things that are NOT mentioned, and stick to what's mentioned because that's the ground SG can hold when confronted afterwards

    I don't want to ask a d o u c h e question, but I will anyway.


    What about those minor rewards? 

    Those powders, bookmarks, skystones, mystic medals, and energy dropped in Hunt 11, 12 and 13 should also have a reduced chance of dropping or increase the quantities dropped, they are totally not worth the energy being spent.

    This is a big nothing, I do hunt 12-13 to get reforge material, not crafting stuff
