Hello, this is Epic Seven.
 


We want to thank all our Heirs for the continued enthusiasm and support that they bring to Epic Seven and our community.

 


In this post, we will be showing our players the Balance Adjustments scheduled to be applied with the update occurring on April 16th


In this update, 6 Heroes will be improved. Through this Balance Adjustment, there will be improvements to Heroes who have unique 

characteristics, yet are difficult to utilize. We hope our Heirs will have more fun battling by making full use of these characters to 

build new team combinations and create new strategies.

 


Please see below for the list of Heroes to be buffed via the April 16th Balance Adjustment.

1-1) Covenant / 5-Star


■ Pavel

 

Storm Bullet (Before)

Storm Bullet (After)

Fires a strong blast of wind at all enemies. Damage dealt increases proportional to the caster's Speed.

Destructive Pursuit (Before)

Swiftly cuts and shoots the enemy. When the enemy is not an Elite or Boss monster, damage sharing effects are ignored. Damage dealt increases proportional to the caster's Speed.

Pavel was designed as a Hero that could grant himself an increased Attack buff and attack all enemies, and then deal lethal damage 

to the strongest Hero on the enemy’s team. However, due to his lack of survivability and comparatively low damage output, it was 

hard to fully utilize him despite his ability to increase his own attack. With this Balance Adjustment, Pavel will be improved so that 

he can deal more damage in order to more easily defeat enemies, and also so that he can more readily fight against Heroes with 

counterattack skills.

 


Pavel could not be utilized against enemies with counterattack abilities. In order to address this issue, Pavel will be improved so that 

Storm Bullet no longer triggers counterattacks. Our Heirs will be able to use Pavel even if the enemy has Heroes with counterattack 

abilities.

 


Also, the damage output for the Destructive Pursuit will be increased by around 25%. Utilizing such an increase in damage output 

will allow Pavel to become more capable of dealing with enemies that utilize damage sharing effects.



With the increased damage output of Destructive Pursuit and the ability to attack enemies without worry of being counterattacked, 

we hope that our Heirs will be able to fully utilize Pavel to dominate enemy teams.

■ Sigret

 

Guillotine (Before)

Guillotine (After)

Inflicts lethal damage to the enemy, piercing their weak point, penetrating Defense by 30%, with an additional 5% for each debuff inflicted on the enemy.

Although Sigret is a Hero who can inflict debuffs onto enemies and deal additional damage proportional to the number of debuffs 

inflicted on the enemy, she was not as threatening a choice when compared to other Heroes. Therefore, she will be improved so 

that our Heirs can more easily use her.

 


Sigret will now inflict extinction when defeating an enemy. This will make her more useful against Heroes with the ability to revive. 

After this adjustment, she will become a very effective choice for certain occasions.

■ Lidica

 

Thornbush (Before)

Thornbush (After)

Attacks all enemies, with a 100% chance each to decrease Hit Chance for 1 turn, before dispelling one buff.

Attacks all enemies, with a 100% chance each to decrease Hit Chance for 1 turn, make them unhealable for 1 turn, and dispel one buff.

Public Execution (Before)

Public Execution (After)

Attacks the enemy with a whip sword, decreasing Speed and making them unhealable for 2 turns, and decreasing Combat Readiness by 100%. Grants the caster skill nullifier, negating damage received from the next skill attack.

Attacks the enemy with a whip sword, decreasing buff durations by 1 turn, before decreasing Combat Readiness by 100% and decreasing Speed for 2 turns. Grants the caster skill nullifier once, negating damage received from the next skill attack.

 

Lidica’s Public Execution will be improved so that she can more easily disrupt the enemy, and Thornbush will be changed so that it 

creates an additional hindrance to her enemies.

 


First, the unhealable debuff will be moved from Public Execution to Thornbush. With her ability to inflict unhealable and decrease 

the Hit Chance of her enemies every three turns, she will be better able to contain the enemy team’s attacking and healing 

capabilities.

 



Furthermore, Public Execution will be given the ability to decrease the target’s buff effects by one turn. Our Heirs will be able to 

better use Lidica against enemies with buff effects, given this skill’s ability to inflict debuffs on enemies as well as decrease their buff 

duration by 1 turn.

 



We hope our Heirs will be able to bring out the full potential of Lidica to publicly execute enemies using her ability to disrupt 

enemy’s battle plans via her various debuff effects.



■ Zeno


Star's Armor (Before)

Star's Armor (After)

Increases Defense and damage of Ancient Beast by 8% when the enemy uses a non-attack skill. Can stack up to 10 times.

Increases Defense and damage dealt by Ancient Beast by 10% and Effectiveness by 5% when the enemy uses a non-attack skill. Can stack up to 8 times.

Ancient Beast (After)

Summons an ancient beast to attack all enemies, with a 70% chance to silence for 1 turn. Damage dealt increases proportional to the caster's max Health.

Summons an ancient beast to attack all enemies, with an 80% chance to silence for 1 turn. Damage dealt increases proportional to the caster's max Health.

Ancient Beast (Awakened) (Before)

Ancient Beast (Awakened) (After)

Summons an ancient beast to attack all enemies, with a 70% chance to silence for 1 turn and inflict bleeding for 2 turns. Damage dealt increases proportional to the caster's max Health.

Summons an ancient beast to attack all enemies, with an 80% chance to silence for 1 turn, and inflicts bleeding for 2 turns. Damage dealt increases proportional to the caster's max Health.

 


Improvements will be made so that Zeno will be able to more consistently inflict debuffs on the enemy. Additionally, he will also be 

given an increase in the defense and damage dealt when an enemy uses a non-attack skill.




Star’s Armor will be improved so that it also provides increased Effectiveness, along with an increase in the Defense and damage 

dealt by Ancient Beast. With this increase in Effectiveness, he will be able to inflict debuffs on the enemy with greater consistency. 

 



Also, the probability of silencing the enemy will be increased to a maximum of 80%. Given this increase, he will be able to make a 

large difference in the battlefield.




With improvements to Star’s Armor which will allow Zeno to deal more damage and have more Effectiveness, we hope that our 

Heirs will be able to better utilize him.



1-2) Moonlight / 5-Star


■ Faithless Lidica

Hysteria (Before)

Hysteria (After)

Attacks the enemy indiscriminately, increasing skill cooldown to max.

Attacks the enemy indiscriminately, increasing skill cooldown to max. A critical hit grants all allies skill nullifier once, negating damage received from the next skill attack.

 

Faithless Lidica was designed as a Hero who could provide an advantageous position for her team by increasing her allies’ Combat 

Readiness and increasing the enemy’s skill cooldown to their maximum. However, our Heirs found it difficult to utilize her.

 

Therefore, Faithless Lidica will be improved so that she can be more readily used and have a more significant presence in battle by 

adding a new effect to Hysteria.

 


Upon landing a Critical Hit with Hysteria, all allies will be granted the Skill Nullifier buff effect. By utilizing her high base speed, 

Faithless Lidica will be able to protect her allies from strong attacks from enemies.

 


With skills that can benefit her allies, we hope that our Heirs will be able to better utilize Faithless Lidica.


1-3) Moonlight / 4-Star


■ Benevolent Romann


 

Mana Arrow (Before)

Mana Arrow (After)

Attacks the enemy with concentrated mana, with a 35% chance to activate Mana Burst.

Mana Burst: Attacks all enemies, decreasing Combat Readiness by a random amount between 10% and 50%.

Attacks the enemy with concentrated mana, before a 35% chance to activate Mana Burst. Effect chance is doubled when the target is silenced.

Mana Burst: Attacks all enemies, decreasing Combat Readiness by a random amount between 10% and 50%.

Mana Fundamentals (Awakened) (Before)

Attacks all enemies with condensed mana, with a 75% chance to silence for 2 turns, before dispelling one buff.

Attacks all enemies with condensed mana, dispelling one buff, before a 75% chance to silence for 2 turns.

 


Benenevolent Romann will be improved so that he can better decrease the Combat Readiness of the enemies, and more readily 

inflict debuffs.

 


First, the probability to activate Mana Burst after using Mana Arrow will be doubled if the enemy is silenced. Consequently, after 

silencing the enemy, the probability of decreasing all enemies’ Combat Readiness will also be increased.

 


Furthermore, Mana Fundamentals will now have the ability to inflict silence after dispelling one buff effect. This will greatly increase 

Benevolent Romann’s presence in the battlefield, since he will be more capable of successfully silencing the enemy.


With the greater chance to decrease the Combat Readiness of his enemies after they have been silenced, we hope that our Heirs will


be able to create difficult situations for the enemy by fully utilizing Benevolent Romann.
 



These are the balance changes that are scheduled to be applied with the update planned for 4/16. We hope that we can receive 

feedback from our Heirs. We would also like to say that the feedback given to us via all of our communities continues to be a 

source of great motivation and helps us as we continue to take steps towards improvement. We will continue to try our best to 

provide the most entertaining content possible by providing our players with the chance to create new strategies with a diverse 

group of Heroes.

      The skill is written strangely. Zeno's defense increases with his passive, not the beast. Hope that helps. Zeno getting buffed is amazing BTW, he's already a great tank mage, this will just make him more effective.

    So ML Tywin remains pure garbage? I thought they said during one of the last streams that he was “on their radar”? On their radar for remaining in the dumpster? Lots of great changes lately, but this is utterly disappointing considering we won’t see the next balance update till June. JUNE. 


    P.S. Honorable trashiest hero award to ML Leo, too, obviously.

      Izzy780% of defense team i see in challenger 3 to 1 has ssb and/or fallen Cecilia. those of you doesn't have her don't know how weak she is right now. she's not a covenant 5*. she is an Ml 5*. you get it? against ceci comps, she is like a slower Judith that triggers ssb counter.

      what I've say is Luna get overshadowed by alot hero in PVE


      W11 why bother with Luna when every water DPS can do like her except Kise , and Enott ? and some can do better Like SSB and Karin .


      Abyss , Raid  why you bother with Luna when Lorina can do everything and her and no mola , better moral .


      currently PVE sure matter but what the point of pure DPS when every area need AOE / or Striper o Suppoert not Pure DPS . if you lack DPS just use Day dream joker .


      this is the one reason why Luna need to buff .

Sayin dont know how 2 build a speed unit that needs 2 land her debuffs? Granted basar needs 2 be nerf but that still does not excuse her mediocrity even more so that she can only be use in PvP. Charles kills her easy and he is everywhere which is why they bring more skills that can NOT be counter in. If they dont want 2 nerf units, like they stated, they need 2 buff current units more especially limited. Not even bad does not mean good now does it??? She needs 2 be good not okish.

      STOVE119407855Being a limited hero does not give automatic "be better than the rest", thats now how the game works dude. She does not NEED to be good. Thats your fantasy of how she should be, but your not the one that gets to decide that. Being okayish is enough. Its whats called "balanced". Having counters you do well against, but also having some things you do poorly against. Thats not the case of Cerise being worse, but the fact something like Charles, being OVERTUNED. You should rather ask for nerfing a overtuned unit rather then asking a unit thats completely fine where she is to be buffed to broken tier JUST because she is limited. Being limited has NOTHING to do with it. Look at Baiken, Dizzy. They are okay too. Luna has comparable RNG dmg to Clorina, a freaking free 3*. Yet your complaining about one of the once that actually are okay?

      YohhhhSo it's okay to give her ml ceci's s3 on top of her other skills? Besides there are other ml5 units that are currently worse like A Tywin and my example that needs tuning prior to her.

      He's already hit every note with DPS to top it off. If he ditched the dps he can easily reach 100% crit with 120+ eff with the right ring and spd of around 255.


      My point is that with a crit neck and eff ring, it is very simple to reach the required condition for her to work and is barely a requirement if at all.

    Faithless Lidica is probably too strong with that? She has really good utility as is. Maybe just give allies a shield.


    Lidica's s3 change is really needed. Her s2 is so... blah though. Just make it a two turn decrease hit chance. Nobody cares about unhealable. Esp 1 turn of it.


    Give Pavel an additional effect on s3. Like, everyone thinks he ***** so they're going to assume 1.25 * 0 = 0.

    Where is sage Baal and DJ Basar they are much worse than ml lidica, have been around for longer and yet are still useless. Also still no nerf to Arbiter Vildred and Seaside Bellona means the PvP balance is still horrible.


    Overall the F.Lidica buff is way too much I already see her more than most ML5s and you just decided to giver her F.Ceci's signature move on top of her already good kit.why??

      You are kidding right? Arbiter vildered has more counters than any other character I can think of right now. (Hard counters: lilibet, spez, sigret, bbk, yufine, judge kise, green cidd, ml angelica. Soft counters: ML ken, charles, ssb, ml ravi, insert every other buriser here).


      And as far as ssb goes, roana and pavel should be pretty decent counters to her now. Honestly, I never really found her as cancerous as people say. Charles is more annoying than her. Atleast ssb's attacks can be predicted. Charle's rng just screws you over when you least expect it.


      Will agree that f lidica buff is a bit much though.

      STOVE124721701Calling bbk, yufine, and any other damage dealer that takes two turns an arbiter counter is like calling a cleanser and a cr pusher a basar counter. Plus, you listed some units that require soulburn to get their second turn, which requires you to use a mage with book (and don't you say basar, cuz he soulburns his own s3). The units with extinction dont even count as hard counters, considering you gotta have them actually oneshot him first and hes got moonlight dreamblade like all time time proccing, especially with his blind on s3. And saying "just tank it out" with bruisers can be applied to literally every damage dealer, thats why bruisers exist.

      STOVE94528816Lol I remember my first fight using S Tene after buff. She got killed on first turn from Charles's counter procced by s3.

      I can see him getting one shot after one shotting SSB.
