The Playable "animation" [6]

This is going to be short but straight to the point.

Where are the animations in this game? Not talking about skill animations (every game has that) but what really catched my eye and made me wanna play this game was the quality of the cinematics. Why did you disappeared one of your initial "selling points"?

Is Smilegate aware that now, with no cinematics the game is pretty much comparable to any other game around?

I'm pretty sure many players saw the animations featuring Luna, or the Valentine's day event, or the part of the story where Mercedes saves Ras "sacrificing herself" and went crazy.

Now you have so much new characters I would really like to see animated and we got pretty much nothing since the release of chapter 2.

PS: I don't believe that any event animation counts since they were released over a year ago and recycling is not new content.

thanks.

BESTThis is really no different than any other game.

Before release, you get a big cg trailer that can span several minutes and is usually tied to the game's opening cinematics too. Looks awesome, makes you wanna buy.

After purchase, most of the storytelling is either flipping pages in some book or ingame cutscenes, but rarely anything pre-rendered.

FMV takes a lot of time and money and is usually reserved for new expansions or new content that demands it because the time and funds can be better spent improving other areas of the game inatead. The art team should be working on new heroes, skill animations, new area designs and the like, rather than a new 30second animation.

Game's still gorgeous and maintains the animation aesthetic so it's whatever to me.

Mmmm. It might be just me but I genuinely don't want them to add any more animations. To me it's just a waste of time, slowing things down.

I agree but I need more free storage, besides I'm no sure there will be playable animations until the final chapter in cidonia,  the cidonia chapter has a good story but less of CG or cutscene ?umm,  special scene? (Idk how to call it) and it's makes the story is kinda less in story telling

They're probably so far behind schedule that they don't have time to add any of those animations right now. That, or they are going to add a few more towards the end of chapter 2.

Also, I think when they say, "the playable animation", they are referring to the in game animations, as in the characters and their 3rd skill.

Yea agree the fact that this game is just like every other game like whatever.

You want more animated cut scenes? Because other games aren't like that so this game isn't like that either.
