How to Resolve Log in Issues Following Epic Seven’s Update [30]

Hello Heirs!

This is GM Dominiel. 

 

Following the update to v1.0.202, we have confirmed that many of our players experienced an error when they tried to log in to Epic Seven. We apologize for any inconvenience that this issue may have caused you.  

 

Due to the fact that the play environment is different according to the model and OS of the device, it is taking us longer to determine the exact cause of the issue. Therefore, we would like to first provide steps on how to resolve this issue. 

 

 ■ Epic Seven Log in Issue Following the update to v1.0.202

1) (Android) Delete the Cache/Data of the following Apps and then update to the latest version.

 - Apps: Google PLAY Games, Google PLAY Services, Google PLAY Store

 - In the event that a player cannot log in to the game, deleting the cache/data for the three apps above can solve this issue. 

 - After deleting the cache/data, please try to log in to the game. 

 - To delete the cache, please go to [Settings > App & Notifications > Application > Select App] and then click on the Delete Cache/Data button. 

*Please note that the cache deletion method may differ depending on your device

 

2) Update your device to the latest available OS

 - Players may not be able to normally access the game if the OS version of your device is not the latest or if your device has been rooted/jail broken. 

 - Please update your device to the latest officially provided OS.

 

3) Free Up Storage Space 

 - In addition to downloading and installing the patch, your device has to have enough storage space to ensure that the game runs smoothly. 

 - Please make sure that your device has sufficient free storage space. 

 

4) Reinstall the app after clearing Epic Seven cache/data

- An unstable internet connection might cause issues when downloading the update resources and can cause a log in error.

- To resolve this issue, first clear Epic Seven’s cache/data and reinstall the update file via a stable internet connection.

- How to delete cache: [Settings > App & Notifications> Apps > Epic Seven > Clear Cache/Data]

*Please note that the cache deletion method may differ depending on your device


For iOS devices, fully delete and reinstall the game to fix the issue.


However, if you are using a Guest account, deleting game data might result in permanent account removal. Therefore, please link your account before reinstalling Epic Seven.


Please contact Customer Support if you’ve already deleted your cache/data without linking your account.

 

※ (AOS) Update Error

Some Android devices are experiencing errors while downloading patch data. This has been investigated and will soon be updated. We apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced due to this issue. Detailed update information will be provided as fast as possible through our STOVE page.

 

If the error continues even after trying all the above methods, please leave a comment or contact our Customer Support team with your device/OS information.

    BESTUse my method below,  if you dont want to waste your time like reinstalling the game and still not fixed 

    Follow this step.

    1. Close your game

    2. Open your game directory Android/data/com.stove.epic7.google

    3. Delete folder 'cache'

    4. Open folder 'files' on Android/data/com.stove.epic7.google

    5. Delete file patch.log , config.db , and folder temp

    6. Open the game


    *Nb This method work on mine and only work if you have a troble on the login page (like crashing on 0.0 loading screen/force close everytime you open the game)

    My game keep crashing on and on after your so called update

    These steps are not fixes deleting everything and installing it back, you guys keep breaking the server with each update you put 1 hour later we receive our regular post made by you "here are the known bugs and issues"


    if its known to you why did you add it to the game

    The only time the game crashed was completing ABYSS 89 which was not solved, I completed it 4 times already and still no difference, game resets even though I refresh and cleaned the device system, plenty memory and played in the lowest quality without sound/music, no progress nothing. You haven't fixed that bug and it has been 2 months already. I reported the bug twice for your information.

      Run the game on "high quality" mode only when doing Abyss 89.

    This is so dumb! making players do all those steps just to play the game! this kind of problems shouldn't be there since the beggining! it's the devs and tech teams job to try and see if their programs work before releasing them to the public!

    FULLY DELETE AND REINSTALL DOESNT WORK

    THE GAME STILL CRASH WHEN I TRY TO OPEN IT.

    Galaxy Tablet E 9.6 and Galaxy S5 Neo both are fully updated and are getting the exact same error code can't even download the game from the store and I've cleared all E7 data multiple times across a few days still can't access the game at all.

    Dear Smilegate and Super Creatives!

    Posts like this make your reputation much lower. I am not in 1* army but I see I am really close to become one of them.

    Shame on you if you can't pay for professional programmers and keep some dumb members in your team.

    I don't know actually who is more stupid, project manager or his programmers.

    Run a small guild, my sisters kids have this problem on 3 diff model phones. Playing #blackdesertmobile it's better trust me. No issue not #pay2win
