Transmitting duplicate covenant heroes into a hero selector [18]

I think that would be a nice addition to the game. The ratio could be adjusted, but say 3 5-star duplicates for a same grade hero selector would help you obtain a favorite hero from the covenant pool since it's already hard enough to pull a 5-star unit anyway.

    Edit: This is a RNG gacha, that's why it's called Gacha game. Not a "You get pleased and whatever you want" game and the rate is very fine to be honest, there is a pity on the banner and all you have to do is wait for your favorite banner with 600bm, easy, why the selector? Pointless.

    BESTKid, for just one time, use your brain, if anyone could get whatever they like, no one was gonna investing in it anymore, game couldn't survive > bang > boom > gone. And seriously, you said you suggest to benefit players? Why do players here say "NO" to you? No, you only talk for yourself, don't bring the "benefit players" here, you are no one, you don't have the right to talk for us.


    People don't always say no if you make a rational suggestion that can be considered into the game, not like "I want a selector"

    And no, they don't have any plan to increase/raise the "multiple" thing you mentioned so don't mislead information.

    BESTIt seems as if you cannot deal with criticism, and act aggressive towards anyone who might disagree with your idea. Within the forums, individuals are free to comment on topics that they might or might not agree with. If you did not want to deal with criticism, then perhaps you should not have posted anything at all. Your idea on the hero selector would not benefit the player at all considering that it would require the player to have 3 5* units of the same type. This would cost the player more bookmarks than if they waited until the rate up for the specific hero that they wanted.

    @Flynnize Then I'm glad you're not in charge of the game's direction because I'm sure the majority of the players here don't share that sadomasochistic passion of yours toward RNG. I just want to play the cool guys and cute girls. Besides, I remember seeing in an official post during the birthday conference that Epic Seven should be about raising multiple, different units and I believe this would be a good way to achieve that milestone.

    "No. Nope. Nah." I've seen countless suggestions being replied just like that here on Stove. One monosyllable and post. Are people here struck so deep with some kind of Stockholm syndrome they just feel aversion to whatever suggestion that benefits the player or what?

    Yeah, I'm sure I'm the only one with duplicate heroes in the entire player base. Also, just because you replied to my post with "hahaha" it doesn't mean it suddenly lost its meaning.

    Thank *** Smilegate heard what the korean players had to say.

    The only problem with selectors is the fact that removing RNG could lead to a unit saturation. Whatever is the current meta is what people will trade off for, people in PvP will get frustrated because of the nonstop same unit battles. 

    As a result Smilegate will release units to counter that current meta, thus people will feel cheated that they traded off units (aka "paid") for that now gimped unit they wanted. RNG gives players a mindframe of use what you have, developers look at units more as a whole which is why Smilegate still gives buffs to 3-4* units. 

    Also saves the Devs a headache. If people traded off for Xunit because it is the monthly meta, Devs trying to add balance release Yunit made to clearly counter Xunit. Players will cry foul and complain because they feel "cheated." Next few weeks will be a mix of "buff Xunit, recall Xunit, you took our trade ins causing us to spend extra just to nerf Xunit." 


    Bottom line is players will always complain.

    Also, I can take criticism just as well as anyone but how would disagreeing by posting a monosyllabic reply contribute to the thread? Also, that first guy was talking about hitting pity count when this thread was a suggestion on how to salvage duplicates you might pull during daily or covenant summons and he simply said it was pointless so I just replied accordingly.

    @SlowkuGaming Guess I overlooked that. Good point, since there are some really strong RGB heroes right now like Basar and Tywin that a lot of players would pick, for sure.

    So, would like, a card similar to that one you buy with the golden stones, but a 5-star sure-fire, that you could obtain by transmitting some of your duplicates be a good idea?

    That might be alright, a random 5 star in exchange for your dupe 5 stars. Sure you risk getting another dupe but it won't have the same problems a selector would cause. Personally I'd rather be salty for a while than get frustrated over said issues above and most likely quit.
