If you've read up, there's gonna be a REBALANCING.

All of the ML are going to get nerfed, that means the OPs hero will not stay that way by the end of it. Its likely that the ML 5* will be reduced to niche uses only

i agree, its kinda dump, somebody got random 5* and now he can choose favorite/op char instead. i hope they at least give something to others ppl that used like 30+ pulls and got nothing, like me.

@STOVE105614934 There is nothing "dump" about compensation. If you disagree that selecting 5 stars should be the compensation that's fine though 

In best case scenario ML selectors should be fine cause if all ML 5 stars are actually balanced you would not be able to select the op ones cause they are balanced. In practical scenario People will still choose the best ones  BUT they had a clearly broken one that just got nerfed so they already had a best one to begin with or they wouldn't be selecting another to begin with. 

A)You have a OP 5 star and they nerf it you already had a great one so your downgrading even with the selector.

B)You have a Good 5 star that isn't getting nerfed you wouldn't be selecting it even with the option.

C)You have a bad 5 star and they give u a selector anyway, upgrade, if not oh well

The only possible upgrade is type C). Lastly Compensation implies you lost something. Please just ask for handouts if thats what you want and stop calling it compensation.
