Account Restriction Policy Reversal Notice [22]

Hello Heirs,

This is GM Dominiel.

First of all, please let us apologize to all of our Heirs that have experienced a sudden account restriction notice as a result of our account creation policy. I would like to explain the reasoning for our policy as well as explain the process involved in order to reverse this restriction.

The creation of a large amount accounts by a single IP address and device in a very short period of time is banned by Epic Seven. This is to prevent accounts which are generated for uses other than for personal play, which can have a significantly negative impact on the gaming environment of Epic Seven.

We confirmed that some players, in order to receive rewards after July 16, had their personal accounts restricted due to creating new accounts.

To help our players access Epic Seven normally, and to help prevent this issue in the future, we have prepared the guide below for all Heirs who have been impacted by this issue.

1. Temporarily ease account creation restrictions
We will temporarily ease our account creation restrictions in order to prevent other Heirs from experiencing this inconvenience.

--> However, please be aware that accounts which are made using outside programs or applications will continue to be restricted or accounts which are not for personal play will still be restricted.

2. Accounts which use the “reset” function will not be subject to these restrictions
Players are able to use the in-game reset function in order to receive rewards, just like a new account would.
※ Please be aware that all data(including payment information) for the sever you are resetting on will be permanently deleted and it is impossible to restore this data.

3. We will be reviewing each restricted account one by one and lifting the restrictions for players who fit into our temporary account restriction parameters.

    BESTI think they need to communicate with players first before having this notice its a bit shocking to players especially some are just new players. For that reset, I think they need "reset limiter" like 10-20 resets so that they will be alert OR resetting after an hour or 2.

    BESTAutomatism is a double edged sword. Most people ofc know this bans were not made by hand, but by automatism. I'm affected by this problem as well. I'm angry, yes, but I do understand those kind of things are the price for the game not beeing overrun by hacker and scamer. I hope it won't take too long until we can log in again. And just don't forget to consider those kind of things when you decide on a compensation/reward that does not need any minimum playtime. Thank you for your hard work

    We all know this is because people have been making accounts to sell while they could get the extras from the 5 star tickets offered a couple of days back. All those people in the comments made it very clear that is what they would be doing.

    Ok, one thing for sure, they communicate better. The conference did help. I'm hopeful for the future of this game again

    im agreed with SG for this, people keep making new id, and reroll for sell somehow... The one who complaining perhap reroller and selling id... now get free 5* ticket so many people making new id and reroll to get tamarine,luluca,krau or any famous hero... good job SG

    They should not give two extra 5* star hero tickets for the new players in the first place.
    I mean, this will attract more new players to play, but the others will just reroll for decent heroes and sell the accounts to someone who needs. This is not a good move from SG. I think it will be better if they just focus on not losing their current players. Giving two extra 5* tickets for the one who has reached rank lvl 30 for example (like the previous one).


    Since the compensation, people start rerolling, SG banned player who exploited this. THAT also applies to the old player who really wants to reroll for fun. Now, it's not surprising that they are slowly quitting the game.

    Restricting this way is pure. Yes, this is much easier to do but Players first!! Restricting accounts with the same ip is no way to stop account selling. Think carfully before doing anything rash. You already lost the korean community and many people in global don't trust you guys(me2). Sending out those free 5* may have calmed down the easily influenced but changed nothing about the state of the game. Keep on working like this and the game will be dead in nl more than a year. 

    Don't forget      We are first of all Players not Payers. 

    Something that bothered me this whole time is that the game is not rewarding in any way. You HAVE to clear for example automaton 100% to get the ml summon! Yeah it's supposed to be challenging but the only people who gain are the ones that already cleared all content! Lets say you get the the ml summon between floor 80 to 90. Then more people have the chance to get the reward. What i want to say is the ceiling for the rewards that matter is set way to high

    How about limiting the compensation reward to accounts that were created before the start date of the compensation period like most developers/publishers do for their online games?

    Epic Seven is a great game, but going down because of terrible operating. This incident shows that they don't know it's better to guide than restrict, they don't know allowing Laissez-Faire when it's legal, they don't know account trading is win-win for player and for the game, they don't know how bad it feels when you can't draw a single decent healer playing for 8 months and still using Aither.


    In short, I strongly support account trading and farming, esp. starting account for new players. You can use VPN/Tor to change your IP address.

    According to this statement anyone that used that option should not have been banned right ? In this case, why was our account banned when using the intended game feature ?

    Because of this bad automated ban mechanism we have lost game time and the chance of getting the desired characters from the rewards on the new servers. In addition, how high are the chances of us getting kicked from the guilds and losing the progress recorded on Global, for example, if we got banned because we re-rolled on Europe ? 


    Correction, my account got unbanned and the progress was kept on the main server.
