    Effect resistance needs to be reworked. Solution. [3]

    Effect resistance is the most irrelevant stat in the game. (Speaking for the current meta) I've seen NOBODY recommend the Effect resistance set, or substat, or main stat, or imprint, or awakening node, for ANY character in ANY game mode.

    If that's not the definition of useless, I don't know what is.

    My solution:

    Make Effect resistance an enemy exclusive attribute. Make Effect resistance a predetermined stat for each character. Change all previous instances of effect resistance in the game (Gear, sets, imprints) with either HP or DEF, or a new more useful defensive attribute

    Idea for a new more useful attribute to replace effect resistance:
    AGILITY SET - Buffs Combat Readiness by 0.5% at the beginning of caster's turn. (Or whatever % you feel is fair)
    Just do a Combat Readiness attribute that's always base 100% for all characters, and then players can increase it, like Dual Attack Chance

    With this maybe you can do gear that debuffs Combat Readiness like -30% Combat readiness, but has stupid high stats, like making characters intentionally slower. Or maybe you make characters that are slow from the get-go like have 80% Combat readiness base, but have an insane attack, and if you can keep them alive, they cleave everything.
     
    Isn't that more fun and cool potential than this effectiveness resistance yuck?

    OK, but did you ever ACTIVELY seek out resistance? Like oh, I'm going to run resistance on this character because I need to. Or for this dungeon resistance is a must. Do you currently have or want to have jewelry with resistance percent on any character? Did you ever change equipment on a character even if the level of the gear was lower, just because it had a better resistance stat? Did you ever think: oh I want to do banshee so I can craft resistance gear for character X. This is what I'm saying, it has a function, because duh it's in the game. In your case, you don't mind it and make use of it, BUT have you ever actively sought it out for any reason?

    Effect Resistance is useful for heroes that remove debuffs from the team, especially if they aren't fast or don't provide immunity buff. It's useful in PVP where debuffs are used to shred/shut down teams, and some bosses that inflict a ton of them. I have resistance substats on my Destina's gear, and she almost never gets provoked/stunned/silenced/put to sleep so she can use her S3 to heal and remove debuffs from everyone else.


    Just because you don't use something doesn't mean useless. 

    People would likely stack that in Arena, like Shadow rose that already gives and removes CR, your team simply wouldnt play
