Axe God's S2 not giving extra turn in arena

for some reason, there are times when axe god's S2 did not give me another turn,

when clearly i killed an f.kluri with it. and because of that it kinda screwed my arena runs.

i revisited the skill description and it says there that it's a guaranteed extra turn when you kill somebody, not a chance.

kindly look into this

My guess is that Kluri's turn was next immediately after you attack and she actually died from a debuff. That process makes it appear that she died from the attack on your turn when in fact she died on her turn.
