Development Hunt Notes Response [2]
First off thank you for sharing the mindset of your intentions with the update to hunts.
However, the explanation as to the increase of energy costs and the increase of drops is not balanced.
1. Increased energy costs is less time we can enjoy your game.
2. The energy consumption makes Hunt not a viable option for players to lvl fodder and low lvl heroes.
3. The pool of items dropping has substantially been increased and the likelihood of a good drop upon completion has been reduced.
Spending 18 energy to complete Wyvern 10 and your only reward is 1 bookmark or 4 skystones and a few extra mats for gear is insulting. Now if you added the gear drop along with the few extra bookmarks or skystones the change might be palatable.
...what youโve done with the change is slapping players in the face by essentially saying we donโt want you to play our game. And youโve further angered them with atrocious drops but oh no they are better...but not really. I was getting a lot of heroic gear 70+ gear...now Iโm only seeing peddly drops and a sea of rare blue gear that gets instantly sold for next to nothing...maybe this is just a spree of bad luck...cough.
On top of that all my efforts require lots of gold...one could spend 10 million gold or more just updating and trialing gear for their character.
Etc etc...I get it, you want to make money as much as possible and most of us want to support the game because itโs awesome...
However, if you push players over the edge they will leave and not return. Thereโs a ton of gatcha games out there and tons are coming out. If you canโt keep players in the game they are in other games and spending money elsewhere. Find the balance!!!
