Reflect on your own grammar before you judge that of another.

I think what you are referring to is that "War begins 1d ago" is the incorrect tense and should be "War began 1d ago".

I actually noticed it in another sense as well, where it said "War ends in 13h ago" when it should have said "War ended 13h ago"
