Exclusion of the Imprint Circuit System from PvP Content Notice [53]
Hello, Heirs. This is Epic Seven.
First, regarding the Imprint Circuit system introduced in the last NEW ERA update on 4/2 (Thu), we sincerely apologize for the concerns and burden this has caused to many of our Heirs.
The Imprint Circuit system was designed to complement limitations in the existing growth structure and provide a continuous sense of progression through gameplay.
However, we have confirmed that in the actual game environment, it has impacted PvP competitive content to a degree beyond what we intended, resulting in an undue burden on our players.
Our Development Team has taken the concerns shared through the community seriously and conducted a comprehensive review of the Imprint Circuit system.
As a result, we have decided to implement the following change: stats enhanced through Imprint Circuit will no longer be applied to PvP content.
■ Exclusion of the Imprint Circuit System from PvP Content
- Schedule: 4/9 (Thu) Patch (TBD)
- Exclusion: World Arena, Arena, Guild War
■ Future Balance Adjustments Info
Along with this exclusion from PvP, future balance adjustments will also include adjustments to related options to ensure that the effects of certain Epic Nodes can be utilized more meaningfully in PvE content.
Specific details will be announced separately once they are ready.
■ Imprint Circuit System Adjustment Compensation
We sincerely apologize to all Heirs who have experienced confusion due to these system changes, and we will provide compensation as follows.
- Schedule: 4/9 (Thu) TBD
- Compensation: Leif x 30
We sincerely thank all the Heirs who continue to show thoughtful love for Epic Seven.
This change in direction is the result of a consideration based on the Heirs’ valuable feedback. We will continue to listen to our Heirs’ voices as our top priority and work together with you to create a better Epic Seven.
Thank you.

ITS 4/9 where my life
Well, the imprint circuit feels kind of like a pointless progression system now, which also makes the whole Spirit Rank system feel kind of pointless. I don't need to interact with it to do PVE content, especially after the stat increases were nerfed.
I bought all of the Faint Mana Crystals from the Glorious Trajectory, and now I feel like I've been scammed, considering the glory coins are a finite resource. Is this a late April Fool's joke?
"continuous sense of progression through gameplay" Does not make sense in the first place, diminishing marginal utility is inevitable in all games. This system only worsens the Matthew Effect.
Mistake after mistake, you should keep the imprint system in PVP and do further adjusting instead of dumping the entire development progress as if it’s nothing. Removing imprint circuit from PVP completely deny its existence, might as well delete the whole thing and tell all those players, including myself, who farmed for this shxt to go f themselves. Hell most players don’t even do RTA and competitive PvP, who are they to judge?
Nice, but just axe the whole thing
How about unlock the book of memory stories...we paid good skystone for them
Fix the lobby so we can see the words on the sideor the red dot on world boss, plus add a red dot on ai so ya remember its going
Fix the shop, unsure if its the sizing but its rough tryin to see what you want...the side scrolling doesnt help
Add a red dot so ya remember the weekly guild shop items
HaHAHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaaa
Nobody cares about pve.
take away this horrible system.
I suppose this is a compromise. But releasing this system was a mistake from the start, and this mess is entirely your own doing.
If you kept it in PvP: You'd get flamed daily. Even with nerfed stats, claiming it wouldn't affect PvP is a lie. Your baseline balancing is already terrible; adding such a highly unstable system on top of it, considering you only do balance patches once a month (and half the time they are completely irrelevant updates)—did you honestly think the game's balance wouldn't completely explode?
If you exclude it from PvP: Then this system was made for nothing. You're treating the players who rushed to grind it like idiots. You should be refunding the coins and the massive amount of stamina wasted. 30 Leifs is an absolute joke.
You brought this upon yourselves. No one asked for this system, and you dug this hole yourselves.
They said it would have "minimal impact" on PvP. But yeah, they absolutely dug this hole themselves.
30 Leifs as a compensation is mad disrespect.
It's not even that hard to fix this system. But they kept on doing stupid **** for no reason.
It's honestly incredible😂
I wasted 400 leifs and I get 30 back w0w thanks
Instead of scrapping the entire system for a majority of the content (PVP) with the imprint system, why not tailor it in a way where you limit the rosters that can be chosen. Say Smilegate chooses a timeframe (includes a group of toons released) and allow them to be rostered. Smilegate can change this “roster” over time which can help to balance/buff these units who don’t see much play to be useable again potentially. This would limit the power creep of a current meta toon (can’t be roster for imprint) from breaking the game wide open while allowing older toons to catch up with these imprint buffs.
That's a bad idea. Because you also need to account how players feel about it. Not everyone plays competitively. A lot of us play the game just because we like certain units.
That's why limiting which units can be appointed not only causes them the burden of picking units every certain amount of time, it also causes frustration between players.
That's not even consider it can cause meta shift but only for a short period, resulting in even more frustration in competitive scene.
Once this customization system is enabled for 1 unit, it has to be enabled for all units. There's no other option.
Cool, so can the non-PvP players have our 50% stats back now?
Oh yeah, let us have the stats back LOL
I didn't think about that XD
Maybe they can double the original numbers to ease the situation, because people are seriously mad about this XDDD
Oh my goodness, how incompetent can they be? Mistake after mistake?
Please just do the following and everyone will be happy.
- Imprint Circuit should keep being applicable in all contents.
- Change all stat-adding nodes to Final Stats, and make it add a maximum of 100 ATK & 500 HP.
Guess what? By adding Final Stats, you reduce Base Stats Gap between 3* 4* units and 5* units, you also reduce Gear Gap between players.
- Current Epic nodes are too broken. Only a few units have them will break the game balance. So, disables all of them until you find a solution.
If this system is meant for PvE only, please just remove it entirely and give 100% debuff chance instead. That's all we need for PvE.
It's actually crazy how bad they are at designing this game.
Kindly add a system to refund every single purchase of Faint Mana Crystals from the Glory Trajectory Exchange. When you overcorrect to an overreaction like this and literally make the system compeletely useless, then you better let us get our spent currency back so we can buy more useful rewards.
This is also a mistake. You are now separating PvE and PvP stats. It becomes more to keep track of and more frustration. If you happen to use a character in both PvE and PvP, adding them to the Circuit is now a detriment, especially with nodes like Epic: Onslaught that gives Critical Hit Damage cap +50%, as building a character with 400% Critical Damage means that character now has 50 wasted stats points in PvP, or you need to keep switching gear sets for that character every single time you do PvP and PvE content. That'll be annoying.
Just remove the system if you'll make it PvE only because people gut-complained about static stats every single player could get within a few months of playtime.
Why is this "continuous sense of progression" applied to PvE, if everything we do in the game ends up being PvP?You want to implement another layer of strategy in PvP, but you chicken out at the first complaint.
The decision to remove the system from PvP is awful; there are many other ways to balance the system without simply "removing" it.
An easy solution for this system without having to remove it would be, after the choices in the RTA, on the screen to choose personal or team imprints, you would have the option to activate the Imprint Circuit on one of your team's heroes, instead of it being fixed.
Please bring back the energy refund from the carrot event!!! It can be nerfed to half its value and not applied to spectral cores, but please give us the refund back!!!
I am glad that you listed to feed back and excluded the system from PVP .
Still I don't see the point of adding in the first place since it just made it harder for newer players to catch up to older player , added an extra layer of grind which can cause fatigue and messed up the entire balance of the game since it didn't affect all the units in the player's account.
Having a sense of progression is nice but there should be an acheivable ceiling and it certainly shouldn't come at the cost of game balance. If you want to address the issue of growth , I think you should just focus on making the farming of good gear more acheivable (maybe make it so that we can choose the first roll into a substat of a piece of gear)
Please consider keeping the Imprint Circuit system in regular Arena. Arena is a great place to test heroes, so having it active there would be really fun and give the system at least one PvP use
You don't need imprint circuit to test units in arena. Also reducing even more the units diversity and increasing the stats gap between players is not what a lot of players consider "fun".
LoliDidResetWhat increased stats gap? Every single player can fill out a Imprint Circuit, and it won't take that long. Nobody that is a fresh player is going to compete with a 7 years veteran in one-two months. It would take no more than a couple months to fill out a Imprint Circuit. If every single player has access to the same exact stats, when there's no RNG involved, then theres no reason to complain.
It was overtuned, that I can get on board with fixing. I also think the Speed +3 and Critical Damage +50% should straight up be changed out for something less impactful, but removing it from PvP entirely creates this awkward stats discrepancy between PvE and PvP. Your heroes that you may use in both and put into the IC ends up having different stats in the different types of modes. That's so bad on so many levels, way worse than if they had kept tuning this to be less impactful. They didn't need to remove it out of PvP entirely. It already was vastly improved when they halved the flat stats.
CaideYou are right, everyone has access to imprint circuit. Now, the stats gap come from the players who play the game everyday, the players who log in around 3 times a weeks and the ones who log in a few times time per week, month or years (and this is the majority of the players by numbers, not active play). You and me, we probably play everyday or log in around 5 days per weeks, we will have the FIRST released boards in imprint circuit fully completed in a few month but every other player won't. Then SG will release a third, we will complete it, the others won't have the second finished and the gap of boards maxed out will keep increasing until SG has to sell packs for account experience to reach and increase soul rank faster. Then after that they will give a boards in imprint circuit for free to new players ... Do you see the gap in stats I am talking about ? The imprint circuit should either be a stat gimmick (not even 1%) or the equivalent of 7 stars available to all units at any time
LoliDidResetAlso, like the units SG and SuperCreative are releasing, the imprint circuit will have powercreep boards, which means we will have to use the latest boards in every future PvE content to clear it. And anyone who think SG won't powercreep boards, won't sell packs to get faster boards or won't create content around the imprint circuit is not familiar with SG and SuperCreative way of implementing content.
LoliDidResetAll they really had to do to fix it was to make the flat stats apply after any % modifiers. Just a flat bonus that everyone gets, then rework the Speed +3 and Critical Hit Damage cap +50% nodes to something less impactful for competitive, and keep it like that for the future as they add more boards and nodes. They didn't need to make it a PvE only thing, as it now creates this stupid discrepancy in stats between PvE and PvP.
Either you got to avoid putting units you use in both PvE and PvP in there, or you need two gear sets to switch between every time you do one or the other so there aren't wasted stats in PvP.
I preferred that it was making us choose what units to put into which boards over a stats bonus to every unit personally. That made it a bit more interesting, it just needed to be toned down.
Very bad decision. Why you again listen panic minority? This system now garbage because we don't have pve where units need extra stats. Just balance system around pvp and make it good don't kill it because some lega players cry and don't like it.
Panic minority is enough to flood stove, flood reddit, flood X, flood content creator DM and flood Twitch and YouTube livestream chats about the topic. If you take all E7 players, yes we are a minority, if you take the players who have an opinion about imprint circuit we are the vast majority. The system is garbage from the begining, it doesn't bring anything positive for the game except bigger number. This system was never intended to be balanced and never intended to be good, it is a problem so they call sell a solution.
LoliDidResetMore customizations = more diversity = more variety. That's what we need to keep PvP experience fresh.
What's bad when you can differ your units with something else rather than just gear set?
The purpose of this system is allowing more customizations to your units, which is obviously a good thing.
The problem is that it was executed extremely poorly. I bet they didn't even test it.
With some small changes they can fix it. But it seems that they have no one who has the very basic understanding of the game to help them.
So, in addition of giving heroes artifacts and gear with good rolls for basically doing all the pve content, now the circuit only works in pve. Like, players needed it?? Instead of that You could have put some kind of gap for it, like only not limited rgb units, or 3 and 4 stats units, or a X total of stars between the units. There were other options to do instead of just taking it out of pvp. If it's not going to work in pvp just reework all of it. Also refund the coins from the event shop, i didnt Buy the stones for nodes for Pve content. Pve doesnt really need a circuit boost with all the events. Also let players choose between keeping the dupes or getting coins in Milestone. And a bit of energy in carrots 2.0 should be in the event store at least in week 4!!!
Good thing SG took a smart move for now and change it to PvE only, maybe in the future they can find a place for this, with that said they should refund the players who used their glory coins for this, and also please change the dupe system in the diamond chests, also allow us to keep the ml5 and the glory coins or galaxy coins so that we don't just go with something that mostly feels useless, also give us more Glory coins, they aren't enough to clear the shop and the level requirement for radiance also increases exponentially and really fast.

People who spent Glory Coins on the Imprint Circuit for PvP should be allowed to get a refund.
Why won't you guys address the other elephant in the room with the Milestone of Radiance for veterans??? Why can't we keep our dupes and why aren't you guys refunding everyone for their glory coins? You guy's are literally killing your stable player base not listening to us!
Refund all glory coins spent on currency for imprints as we were forced to spend energy and grind as to not fall behind in PVP.
Give us the dupes / coins.
It really wasn’t that hard guys.
Milestone of radiance was a mistake. It should provide buffs specific to certain content that isn’t just a straight up stat increase that can help newer players get onboarded and clearing things faster (maybe say ER on Banshee or something). Current iteration was a somewhat lazy in terms of adding to the depth of the game.
Still salty about P. Flan. 🤟🏽
