The "Elephant" you are addressing

The Imprint Circuit should have never been able to apply to competitive content. At any level. I'm a very long term player, and while I love the idea of actually being rewarded for my extended attendance, this was bad way to go about it. 50% Increased Crit Damage cap. That alone had me scratching my head when I had heard "low impact". While I do like the idea of the extra oomph, as it were, it should be limited to PvE content. Now you will have to keep drone surveillance on the system, and constantly running "balance changes" to keep it in line. Not only that, but you do not have the best reputation for newly released character balancing. Your balancing patchs are widely hit or miss as well, and now you will have to factor the Imprint Circuit into all those future designs and changes. Then when you make an adjustment to the IC, you inadvertently impact those units. Dominoes. This system shouldn't have been implemented in this way.

I would of much preferred to have gotten some more storage space for artifacts and heroes. Maybe an extra slot in the Secret Shop I could grind up for. Enhanced Orbis Guide rewards. More Heart of Orbis benefits even, an extra 20-50 purification a week for instance. Reduced gear enhancement and craft costs. A similar system with perks more along these lines would have certainly appealed more to me and felt far more rewarding. Not to mention have far less long term ripples regarding hero and arena balance.


The "Elephant" you're avoiding (for now)

Milestone of Radiance. I don't think I've ever felt more punished for being a long term player in this game. You advertise that we're going to be receiving 5 star ML summons, and deliver an EXTREMELY deceptive system that is anything but beneficial in terms of units for veterans. I've never been opposed to new and returning players receiving ample rewards to get them into the game. Retention matters. However, this sends a very bad message to your veterans. To me, it looks to me like "They've mostly filled out their rosters, so the likelihood of them spending is much lower. Hype the newer player experience. They are more likely to spend money due to lack of units, resources, and gear." Whether this is the case or not, I know SG as a company needs to make money, I get that. Not an issue. I do take up issue with an event that was hyped to have all these incredible rewards, even for veteran players, only for the immense level of disappointment to hit like a truck when I get 500 coins for the ML dupe I got. I feel greatly deceived personally, and honestly? This is going to heavily impact my outlook on future events. It will no longer be with a gaze of excitement. It will be through lenses of speculation and doubt. 

Let people keep their dupes. I pulled a Sigret first out of my MoR. I was actually happy. I needed more copies of her to max out my trio of Sigret. This copy would of gotten me SSS imprint on my Swift Flagbearer Sigret. But rather than the dupe, I got the 100 coins. The absolute let down I felt from this made me have to do a double take and make sure I wasn't imagining things. Can you imagine how this is going to impact players who have ALL the units in the game? Let the dupes stay. This is going to probably be the most damaging part of the update to newer players, whom you are obviously trying to pull in. You're going to be hearing about this for a while, even after it's long resolved. Mind you I'm gaslighting myself when I say that. Honestly? The fact you glazed this over when so many people are up in arms about it is telling enough. 

"New" Era

No. You have locked out the most meta defining heroes and walled this event behind a time from almost a year ago. You should of at least let it go up to Lady of the Scales. This doesn't feel like a new era. This feels like a step backwards. Once new players get out of Gold, they are in for a very bad time when they see the same teams every time they try to refresh to a more favorable match.

Some of the things in the update are great. I do like the potential the MoR has, but it's stunted behind getting "duped" on dupes. Reasonable rates, fake out chances, and some fairly decent rewards. I would have honestly been okay with this system without the inclusion of heroes and had something else there in their place. If you would of given me bookmarks instead, I could at least build some hype before getting let down by yet another Kal' Adra, Hilag Lance, or Dingo. Because right now, when I see a diamond box, all I see is 500 coins. Not excited about it. And I don't even own all MLs. 

Some of the new packs are really nice. I even grabbed a few of them. Would of been nice to see a couple more leif's get thrown into the burning packs. Or at the least give a "free" bonus when buying all three packs. I can only justify spending so much on games nowadays, and I can tell you right now you are losing to three other games in my phone in terms of who gets my "gacha" budget every paycheck. If you found more ways to "sweeten the deal" or however you want to put it, I'd be much more willing to slide more of those dollars this way. Back when I was more invested, I'd almost ALWAYS buy the burning packs. Now? "This game has a 20 pull special for $4.99. Think I'll grab that instead." Happens a lot. If I'm going to break budget, then I want to feel good about it. Because I'm going to feel really damn lousy later when I go over my account later and realize that I dropped $30 for some 4 star tripe and 20 lief's. (I started actively avoiding your packs that go above $20, and do HEAVY consideration for anything beyond monthly benefits and burning packs)

So yeah. Purchase bonuses. Not just on $30 and above packs that you have to buy out. Doesn't need to be super extravagant. You tag on 5 free liefs for buying all 3 burning packs? I'd be in for that.
