Find a content creator to watch that is similar to your playstyle and study how they draft and understand why they pick certain units and how they are drafting

i.e:
cleave - axarian, vikchun, higa
aggro / flex - lighte7, acetrainer
tankdown / turn 2 - khm,  

you can even use discord bots such as the "Traptrix Bot" in Vikchun's discord server with the /similarlegendplayers command

use websites like
https://www.slendy.gg and the official e7 match history checker to check top player's drafts to get general grasp on how the meta is and how they are playing and learn from them
