Thank god for the Shadow Company seasonal events... Doing constellations and HoT and everything was just a pain, not fun. As long as the Advent doesn't become unfairly difficult this new system is so much better. You know what's ready to play and don't have to check everything's cycle constantly.

Also nice that Constellation is gone. It's just the same tedious and annoying battle over and over and over. I personally like Automaton Tower and wouldn't mind if it had more floors, but don't know the stats or player consensus on it.

I Love E7! The dev team is showing willingness to admit mistakes and change course! QOL improvements from a new player (since epic dash):

1) PVP: let us SAVE our settings. Every single rta fight I need to reselect "locked only" IT IS A PAIN.

2) Personal PM system

3) Guild features and improvements

4) tourney (with custom rules) system that we can set up and use our SS as price money

5) more pvp balancing / counter pick / arti options

6) Give us back the team party system! (current system is HORRIBLE if you want to change heroes quick and easy on a central place)

Agreed, the constellation system doesn't look appealing at all from the standpoint of a returning/new player, would much rather they extended automation tower which is a lot more approachable. All these separate bits of content (many of them having a high floor to entry) just scares off newer players and the rewards mean the gap between newer and older players gets wider instead of closer, so the game just heads down the path of having a dying population of long term players. I wish they would also do a more personalised catch up system - its pretty demoralising to be a returning player and find that the average 6 month old account has more units than your 4 year old account does, simply because you missed out on some big events and giveaways due to timing of when you came back. They have all this data to work with, surely they can improve these systems to allow accounts that are below average for their age (fewer 5*s, ML units, etc.) to get more rewards to lessen the gap.
