Hello, Heirs. This is GM Dominiel.

 

Let's take a look at what we have in store for you in this update covering this week and next.

The update details provided in this notice are subject to change.

Players will be able to view these updates after the maintenance on 9/25 (Thu).

 

* Through this notice, we would like to share the details of the Epic Seven x Anime "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End" Crossover, which will run for three weeks starting after the maintenance on 9/25 (Thu).

* Please note that for next week, no maintenance will be required, and the update will be applied automatically.

There will be no separate update content notice for the first week of October, and you can check the details through this notice.

1. New 5 Hero, Frieren



An elf mage who continues her journey to better understand humans, Frieren has arrived in Orbis!

A Chaos Gate appears before Frieren's party as they rest in the forest.

Drawn by a voice that seems to be calling out to her, Frieren enters on her own and arrives in Orbis, where she encounters Ras and his companions... 

 

The Special Side Story, "A Requiem For Those Departed," will unfold over the course of the three-week crossover, with a total of three chapters being released weekly, one at a time.

* The 5 Artifact, "Butterfly Hair Ornament," will have its additional effect applied starting from week 2.

 

[Stage Difficulty]

- The Stage Difficulty option will unlock after clearing certain stages each week.

- After the initial clear, players may select Normal difficulty or higher.

- Players may select a higher difficulty after successfully clearing the one before it.

- As the difficulty progresses, the amount of Energy needed to play will increase as well as the amount of event currency earned.

- Hell difficulty can only be cleared up to 3 times during the event period, and the remaining entry count can be checked in the difficulty selection screen.

- Players will be able to exchange the event currency collected from stages with difficulty levels for items in the Exchange.


 

■ Main Rewards

- Players can receive illustrations after completing certain stages.

- The illustration obtained will be added to [Journal > Art Journal > Side Story > A Requiem For Those Departed].

 

 

8. Frieren & Mirrored Lotus Ring Limited Drop Rate Up


 

In this Limited Drop Rate Up event, meet Frieren, an Earth elemental Mage who increases allies' resources and inflicts powerful AoE damage on enemies. Players can also obtain the Mage-exclusive Artifact, Mirrored Lotus Ring, that grants a large number of Soul at the start of the first battle and grants a small number of Soul at the start of every turn.

9. Fern & Butterfly Hair Ornament Limited Drop Rate Up


 

In this Limited Drop Rate Up event, meet "Fern," an Ice elemental Mage who attacks with fast speed and decreases skill cooldowns through Evasion, before subduing the enemy through "The Spell to Kill Demons - Release." Players can also obtain the Mage-exclusive Artifact, "Butterfly Hair Ornament," which increases Attack and, after attacking, grants a barrier proportional to Attack to the caster.

10. New Content, Astral Forge Update

 

A chance to create Equipment with your desired set and stats!

The new Equipment crafting content, Astral Forge, will be available.

- You can enter Astral Forge using the new currency, 'Astrium.'

- Upon entering Astral Forge, you can attempt to craft one piece of Equipment of your choice.

■ Obtain Equipment Crafting Points

- By playing content, you can earn Equipment Crafting Points, which are used when crafting Equipment in Astral Forge.

- You can spend 400 points to select the part of Equipment you want.

- After selecting a part, changing to a different part will consume 400 points again.

- If you change to a different part, all selections in subsequent steps will be reset.



■ Select Equipment Main Stat

- You can spend 300 points to select the main stat of the Equipment you want.

- After selecting the main stat, changing to a different stat will consume 300 points again.

- If you change to a different main stat, all selections in the subsequent steps will be reset.

- The main stats for certain Equipment are fixed. (Weapon, Helmet, and Armor)


 

■ Change Equipment Substats

- You can spend Equipment Crafting Points to change the substat of Equipment.

- Four stats will be randomly applied when the substats are changed.

- You can lock up to 2 stats when changing substats, and the amount of Equipment Crafting Points consumed will increase based on the number of locked stats.

- When you change the substats, you can choose which substats to keep between the existing ones and the newly generated ones.

- Among substats, Speed will only appear with values between 2–4.



 ■ Equipment Acquisition

 - You can obtain the desired Equipment by confirming it.

- Once crafting is complete, the Equipment will be delivered immediately to your Equipment Inventory.


 

[Other]

- During this event, the Equipment crafting process goes in the following order: [Set > Equipment Part > Main Stat > Substats].

- You can go to the previous step by tapping the [Crafting Step] button on the right of the Equipment Crafting event screen.

- You cannot cancel crafted Equipment so please make sure to only craft the Equipment you want.

 

 

11. Hero and Artifact Balance Adjustments


 

Balance adjustments will be made to certain Heroes, facilitating better strategies involving them. 

* The probability, number of turns, and cooldowns are based on fully enhanced characters. 

* Other skills will not be changed unless stated.

* The World Arena Replays recorded before the update will no longer be playable after the maintenance on 9/25 (Thu).

S1: Hail - Attacks a single enemy with ice, with a 40% chance to stun for 1 turn. If attacking when the user has the reflect status, attacks all enemy units. The changed attack does not trigger a counterattack and increases the combat readiness of the ally with the highest Attack stat by 15%.

S2: Nixied’s Grace - Casts reflect and barrier on all allies for 2 turns. Barrier strength increases proportionally to the caster’s max health. Cooldown: 3 turns.

S3: Nixied’s Wrath - Attacks all enemies with a large block of ice, with a 90% chance to stun for 1 turn, and decreasing combat readiness by 15%. Increases speed of the caster for 2 turns. Cooldown: 4 turns. Soulburn: Extends the duration of buffs granted to the caster by Nixied’s Wrath by 1 turn and grants an extra turn. (-20 Souls)

Why shadownerf?


You know what else is a joke? That you post a Balance Patch Preview in order to "gather Heir feedback" but you do not reveal the ML5 Exclusive Equipment until after the patch. Do you fail to see the issue?

80 Galaxy Coins instead of 40 for 1 ML5 that does not even include the ones released in the last 2 years. This is an insult. It's not like this coins are possible to get except by rolling ML5 duplicates.

In the 7th anniversary livestream with developers you said you were considering replacing the current flawed system with a selector to help heirs, especially those waiting so long a specific hero. Making those heirs pay 200% for the hero while others para regular cost for heroes like New Moon Luna is not it and is not right.

Op Sig needs a better EE effect. With her buff, she should already be killing whatever unit she s2s if she crits. At the very least, it should grant an extra turn without any conditions, but even that wouldn't be enough to compete in the current meta.

This update felt rushed, no changes to OP Sigret honestly and our UI has never been granted back ever since the ORIGIN update. This saddens me honestly. I've been hoping this book scoller of story is changed back into the map stages because it was unique to Epic 7 but now it's like Lost Sword... Our characters still auto walks for us which is annoying too since we already have auto battle and some of us just want to enjoy the atmosphere/world building in this game. We've been struck down again with more unmemorable useless UI changes.


I'm hyped for Frieren collab don't get me wrong, but man it's sad that this update doesn't do much except for making OP Sigret feel like a joke and it's a shame to see how these updates are mostly just spiraling downwards. This is my opinon, I hope Sigret gets the justice she deserves and that we have more options for UI. PLS SG it's time to upgrade.





PS: Also, our tavern still can't equip costumes which is honestly baffling. They need to adjust the UI.

One of two things should happen.

1. Let us craft Exclusive Equipment on release including the moonlight 5 star ones

2. Remove the RNG on stat value with exclusive equipment

Right now it's forced Hall of Whales and RNG reset (and exploits). All for RNG EE stat that is not guaranteed even if you get and burn currency for 100 of them.

Everything is good . The coin shop selector is a good decision but 80 coins for a hero released 2 years ago seems stupid .
