Tired of Over-Sexualized Female Designs – Can We Talk About This? [10]
Hey everyone,
I just saw the new female character introduced in the latest story content, and honestly... I’m disappointed. Her overall design actually looks pretty cool, but once again, we're hit with the same tired trope: giant breasts, minimal clothing, and a hyper-sexualized presentation.
It feels frustrating because Epic Seven already has so many well-designed female characters who are attractive without being overly sexualized – like Lermia or Tenebria. Even if Tenebria is a bit revealing, it still feels more balanced and fitting with her aesthetic and personality.
I’m just kind of tired of seeing potential wasted on designs that lean too heavily into fanservice. We already have enough of that in the game. Why not give us more characters who feel strong, elegant, or unique instead of just... overexposed?
I'm curious what others think. Do you feel the same way, or do you think it still fits with the game's tone? I’d really like to hear more opinions on this.

Damn chill bro, you over react
hah, i loled
Well, it's one thing that makes this game still alive until now right?
Yeah, I get that – sexy characters definitely help the game stay popular, and I’m not against that at all. I just feel like it’s been getting more extreme over time, to the point where some designs look more like inflatable dolls than actual characters.
Like motek16 said, it’s always been part of the game’s identity, and both male and female characters get fanservice. That’s fine. I just hope they keep a good balance and don’t let it overshadow character depth or design quality. And it's just my point of view.
Tenebria design is what we called oversexually, lol
Biased level 2000
although oversexually still fail lmao, it's not about oversexually or not but it's just about right just like Luna design.
Yeah, maybe I’m just biased
But I agree with what you said — it’s really all about finding the right balance in the design.
Je suis entièrement d'accord ! C'est à cause de ça que je ne joue justement ce genre de personnage. Des énormes poitrines, quasiment à poils ! Pourquoi ? 😮💨😩😫😩
I understand your point, but I think this has been a fundamental feature of the game, from its very beginning. Not only are there oversexualized female characters, but there are also male ones, like the Sez and AVildred skins. Part of this bold design is what draws so much attention from many players, which is why I understand why it remains a fundamental aspect for the design and marketing teams. We have to understand that we live in a capitalist world with a strong sexist imprint, whether we like it or not. Aria's chest was already nerfed, and the patriarchy didn't fall. The problem would arise when the business decisions that privilege those designs begin to negatively affect gameplay and mechanics, which isn't happening today. On the contrary, the abilities are increasingly richer, more innovative, and more fun, and there are more and better game modes and story content.
They haven’t stopped in 7 years so…
