S3 takes too long to ramp up, and doesn't do nearly enough damage to be worth using (not even considering injury further cutting her DPS), partially due to Penetration Resistance (ML Ilynav, sometimes Diene).

S1 into S1 proc does minimal damage even in comparison to other dark bruiser-ish units, e.g. LCB, USChoux, ML Hwa, and even ML Ken. (And, why does her base S1 not crit? Its multipliers aren't even good enough for a crit S1 to send her over the edge. She would gain... what, an extra 3-4k on 26k hp and 284% cdmg against a 1k def unit? That should've been in the base kit.)

The increase in ** cost is baffling considering we already have Belian which entirely prevents soul gain.

All of these lacking skills make her too passive, limiting her contribution to most battles until the end - at which point the match is likely already decided.

Definitely needs a buff. If she wants to deal damage, has to build her pen/destruction but she will be slow and never be able to stack her s3 considering how aggressive the meta is. The only solution is to pair her with insane bronken opener like ml peira hence lower her usage. In general, she is decent if you have other broken ml 5* like ilynav and ml peira to cover her weakness. But not all players can afford that, and there are better options other than ml aria.
Here are my suggestions to make her more usable without being broken:
1. Give her some lifesteal in her kits for more survivalbility.
2.Give her a way to improve her cycle. Ex: counter on passive as it can increase her cr via s1.
3. Give her s3 some kind of utility aside from just pure damage like cleanse and giving a res buff for the team to fulfil her role as support dps much better, contribute more to the team as the whole.
4. Straight up first s1 gives 35% pen right away, up to 70% so she can do her role as a dps better

She really need buff in her damage and perhaps self healing or  %counter in her s1 ,im sure my suggestion won't break the game,

If you don't buff this unit then I want to refund her to have enough for ML Ras

Needs a buff, below average usage.

The damage is bad and s3 build up is too slow if I build her all tanky. The extra res for team is nice but niche.

Most agree she's underwhelming. There are 3 reasonable buffs she could get imo. 1) make s3 easier to stack either more cr push or the skill has a lower cd or an extra turn for example. 2 just buff her numbers. I dislike this but it would work. 3) give her either life steal or counter natively in her kit. I really favor this option since it makes her a more interesting carry style dps. Option 4 technically exists which just add a dumb broken mechanism to her kit. Please don't do this. I like 3 the most what do all of you think

Un personaje con un buen diseño, pero sin potencial para ser realmente útil y no estar descompuesto como las últimas unidades de ML. Sugerencias de mejora: 1- La S1 debería realizar un crítico al impactar, tanto el golpe básico como el adicional. Que el ataque adicional funcione incluso sin desventajas. Esto tendría sentido gracias al ER que obtiene con su pasiva. 2- La S3 debería tener un 35% o incluso un 40% de penetración desde el principio y, en el segundo uso, alcanzar el 70-80% y quizás darle al equipo un aumento de ER para brindar más apoyo. 3- Y en la pasiva, quizás un 10% de CR al final del turno de un enemigo, siempre que no tenga desventajas, para que su turno llegue un poco antes, ya que tiende a ser lenta.

Compared to the units around her she lacks anything that makes her stand out. She feels like a disappointing unit to own, akin to when you would pull an old unusable ml unit.  She really feels underwhelming and like she was intentionally made weaker to make it easier to save pulls for the next new ml that will be released. If I was able to trade her for another light or dark unit that came out recently I would do it without question.  As she is right now, she requires a specific comp to play that still only has a 50% or so win rate.  That doesn't seem like a unit a player would want to pull unless they were pulling strictly for a how a unit looks. 

Cool design (Summer Raikou says hello!) but she doesn't do her one job in PVP and is - as expected, to be fair - completely useless in PVE. I get that not every ML5 has to be gamebreaking but this is the other extreme.

Please do something about her. She doesn't deserved to be a Moonlight with her current state of performance. She might as well be just a limited RGB unit. I mean look at the last moonlight character's performance, heck even all of the Moonlight in her current Moonlight story is better than what she has. They went high then suddenly after her release, it plunged it down to the dirt. That great art, animation, unit model, it deserves more than what her kit can do at the moment.

Wasted my ml pity for her but even with 35k hp she’s still a dead weight to the team. Low utility low damage and there are too many units that can stomp her. Nice package for an empty box

The unit is in it's current State dosen't offer much, she is a worse Bellian and apoc ravi combo.

Yeah I pulled this unit day 1 and sadly she's just quite weak. I dont think I've regret pulling an ML5 as much as this one. Well at least she looks nice.


She just doesn't really do anything. Shes outclassed on soul reduction by Belian, she wants to counter but nobody attacks her or Mort exists.

Ideally she probably wants to be built like empyrean Ilynav, but she doesn't have the self CR push Ilynav has.

She's basically seaside bellona before buff, u can totally ignore her safely until u're doing killing other units. deadmeat

Flop deadmeat unit (especially for the $$$ it takes for full pity ML unit), nice one btw, release a boring unit and announce deleting content couple of days before a potential E7 killer launch, SG doing all sort of good decisions lately

Proposed Changes (Attempting to keep the unit balanced while preserving her ER + anti-soulburn kit):

S3 def pen rampup should be changed from 0 / 35 / 70 to 30 / 60 / 90. Increased damage to compensate. Remove ** on S3. When an enemy or ally uses a Soulburn, this skill's cooldown is reduced by 1 turn before increasing combat readiness by 15-20%.

S1 now also always crits. Damage dealt is also increased significantly for both S1 and S1 proc. Soulburn S1 now greatly increases damage dealt by both S1 and S1 proc. (Possibly remove injury and CR gain.)

S2 "increase soulburn consumption" removed.

These changes would give ML Aria more flexibility as an anti-cleave unit or a sustain bruiser-type unit that abuses her own soulburns to ramp up faster.
- Now (somewhat) answers NMLuna cleaves, Soul-based cleave teams, and punishes the opponent on imprecise soulburns.
- Still countered by Belian (no ** on her terms), Injury, and can be played around by the opponent.

This is real bad. Enemy can easily utilise soul burn and control you to death via ignore res. 


S3: When the caster is not affected by a debuff, increase the damage dealt.

She’s like a car that just needs a tiny tune-up. 

She needs some sort of self-healing, skill null, invincibility, or a defense buff for her to survive long enough to put out another S3 to get the defense penetration (or a self-CR push for easier turn cycling idk). Her S1 combo does abysmal damage too. Not worth building counter set.
