So, I discovered this when I was trying to figure out how to do a promo code the other day. I have been waiting for an update for SG to add the Guild tab back to the home screen since the release of Origins. It is possible to add it back yourself if you follow these simple steps:

1.  Open the list in the top right corner. (4 boxes shaped into a square.)

2. Click the Settings Tab in the bottom right corner.

3. In the Settings window, click the image of a controller.

4. Under "Quick Menu Favorite", select up to 4 shortcuts to add to the home screen. They will appear in the bottom right corner near the current event advert box on the home screen. 

     A.) Adding "Pet's" will not allow you to claim the daily drop, but all icons will at least show the red dot indicating that something needs to be completed in that particular area. (i.e. Pets will have the red dot if you need to open the window to collect your daily gift or if you need to use your free pet summon/ guild will show the red dot if guild wars, check-in, donations, etc.)

Also, as a side note for anyone who would like to change back to the original pub background-- after opening the list in the top right corner there is a little house icon with a settings wheel in it. You can use this to update your lobby settings. It is the second icon to the left of the normal settings icon.
