no strategies for arena

As I see it more and more. People low brow the auto arena. Using the same team. It take the whole game down a peg. A WHOLE PEG! Lol (futurama reference) but when all there is is these same team comp. Is there any real strategy to it anymore? Call me bias, but mort is a trash unit to cause this kind of movement.

Since 2024 the balance has heavily leaned towards p2w, new heroes matter more than gear and strategy.

Before 2024 the meta was never this stiff.

And most teams don't have 4 100%+ ER heroes. If she has Crown you can easily start the game with a couple of Stunned enemies.

It's news to you that people will pick whatever gives them the best chance to win? That's how metas exist.

The fact you're still having trouble with Mort means you really shouldn't be talking about arena's meta anyway because you aren't playing the same game.

Look at the top arena defenses right now. How many times do you see him in the top 30? Twice? 4 times in the top 50? The defenses are all way different than your pic because the game has moved on and you haven't caught up.

Mort is all over the 5k portion of the ladder because everyone that coasts in champ just uses it lazily since it's a good gear and hero check. The people who actually play arena have much stronger things going on.

I win most of these. I have great units. And mort. The fact still stand its not fun. This post is about the laziness all over. I will take a loss on my def team not to say " i use so and so's team build" as a creator. I would offer other team comps. Where are all the new styles at?

Atlas94zipBecause nobody watches content creators for different teams that don't work as well. They tune in specifically to see the easiest, fastest, best way of doing things. That's what drives their views. When people search "hall of trials" they're not looking for "here's a fun team with 4 heroes you don't use". They offer one newbie and one top100 comp. That's it. Because people want a one-and-done solution. The best one available. You seem to have a problem understanding this even though you're probably guilty of it yourself all the time.

This is how every competitive game works. People find thing, people experiment with thing, thing is pretty good, good players use good thing, people copy good players, now you have a meta revolving around the good thing

You're very clearly non-competitive because competitive people pick a top tier, not cry for everyone else to use things that are less strong so *they* can have more "fun". So if you take fun over winning, stop playing a COMPETITIVE MODE while pushing your personal preferences onto a medium where it doesn't belong.

Or maybe climb out of 5k if that's even possible so you don't see Mort anymore and can play the current game instead of the game state from 6months ago. But we all know you can't actually do that and that's why you're here complaining. If you could, you wouldn't see Mort anymore. So you can't because you never have or you wouldn't have this perspective. I never see him anymore except at ladder reset.

If you win all the time but are stuck in 5k then your defense is garbage.

I wonder what could fix that? Maybe pick a top tier?
